Over the past 100 years, Fredensborg Palace Church has been the setting for several royal confirmations. Both Queen Margrethe and King Frederik X were confirmed here in 1955 and 1981, respectively. Most recently, the confirmations of Crown Prince Christian in 2021 and Princess Isabella in 2022 took place at the church. When Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine are confirmed on April 18, the royal chaplain, Bishop Henrik Wigh-Poulsen, will officiate the ceremony. On this occasion, Princess Josephine wore a lace blouse by ME+EM. The blouse had previously been worn on several occasions by her mother, Queen Mary.
