On March 19, 2026, Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Caroline of Hanover attended the opening of the colloquium “Images of a Renaissance Sovereignty” at the Oceanographic Museum, dedicated to the restoration of the frescoes at the Prince’s Palace. The work, initiated following the discovery of traces of pigments on a wall in the Palace, led to the uncovering of approximately 600 square metres of late Renaissance frescoes.

The lovely robin's egg blue of Caroline's coat reminds me of we are now in Spring.
ReplyDeleteThe classic design and fit suit her well.
La couleur de son manteau est magnifique, mais bien trop grand pour elle
ReplyDeleteLove the color of the coat but it's not a flattering fit at all. Or she is terribly mal nourished. I doubt if that's the case but a better fit would make the coat beautiful. It just looks too big.
ReplyDeleteCaroline looks wonderful!
ReplyDeletethe trousers and grey hair age
ReplyDeleteGrey hair ages ... not. Because coloured hair does not make anyone younger. Wishful thinking.
DeleteShe is being how she is and I for one admire that. No pumped up face, Botox, plastic surgery or too harsh hair dyes. She looks wonderful!

DeleteI understand perfectly what Anonymous 15:33 says.
"Grey hair makes women look older, because coloured hair does make look older women younger"
Not wishful thinking but a fact when you look in the mirror.
@19:45: No colour can make you younger. It just makes your hair coloured, which is in most cases immediately recognizable. Most royal ladies colour their hair, which is absolutely fine with me, but sorry - they look their age anyway and I don't know why one would want to look younger instead of looking good - which is possible in any age.
DeletePerfect. Lovely colour fit, hair. I especially like her eyeglasses very complimentary to her face.
ReplyDeleteI hope the palace share images of the frescoes. What a feat to have come across something so historic and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Le bleu pastel de ce manteau avantage beaucoup Caroline surtout porté avec un pantalon gris ; j’adore ses lunettes !
ReplyDeleteWhy is she wearing her pantoufles
ReplyDeleteWhy are some people so simply built in their heads.
DeleteThe color of the coat is a good choice. Unfortunately it doesn't fit. Difficult to see if her natural shoulders width correspond with the shoulders width of the coat. It is a fact that there is too much fabric in the front (around the waist area and lower). She is wearing comfortable loafers on her feet.
ReplyDeleteI for one do not mind the size of the coat, it flows which I prefer to a snug fit. The colour is perfect for her.The little collar is feminine, shoes have alittle glitz.
ReplyDeleteI find she is a natural beauty, therefore her hair is natural which complements her complexion. The eye glasses become a nice accessory. I beleive she lost all her hair in the the ‘90’s so colouring or fussing with it may not be an option. Plus she doesn’t need to do so to be elegant and graceful. Classy lady
To day every dermatologist confirms coloring your hair is not causing hairloss. The products which are used to change somebody's hair color are more an more made with natural ingredients. The reason why she lost all her hair is calling allopecia. It is often caused by emotional stress, hormonal changes, etc... Until now she used hair coloring products. How do you explain that during the summer she often looks blonder. During winter she looks more grey. Since several years her hair doesn't become greyer. It is always a mix of grey, darker and blond hair. Her natural hair color was about the same as Charlotte's her daughter.
DeleteNice coat for Caroline.

The color of the coat is sublime, but to me it lacks shape/definition. The coat's appearance doesn't look elegant, its hanging off the Princess.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly, @ Ava.
DeleteThat's what I see in this coat : a gorgeous colour vs.lack of shape/ definition.
What an unfortunate fit!
Then, I am not someone normally nitpicking about other women's figures/ looks but this is the exception.
I just can get why such a beautiful lady as Princess Caroline has let herself go to the point of looking so much older than she actually is and almost on the scruffy side in her face/ hair.
Such a pity.
Aging graciuosly doesn't mean stopping caring about hair and skin , which is what I sadly spot in these pics.
* can't get
DeleteP the original. Hello! Yes, the fit is letting this overall look down. I too don't like to comment on looks/figures, I actually don't. I do take on board your points and perfectly understand what you mean.
DeletePositive side - the Princess has the most gorgeous, bone structure, she reminds me so much of her beautiful mother, who had such a natural arresting beauty. I love the fact the Princess has not taken to procedures. She is natural and looks real, she has expression and character in her face. Which is becoming rare now.
Another positive- I love the hair color now that it is lighter, its softer and more appealing.
I'm sure the Princess will do what she feels she has to, for grooming and style purposes in time to come. Hugs !!
