Queen Mathilde and King Philippe on their last evening in Norway. Both are dressed in velvet, Queen Mathilde wears the dark blue velvet dress by Dior she wore at the State visit to France on October 14, 2024. She wears the diamond and saphire earrings which she also wore with this dress in Paris, as well as the little handbag in black or navy. Maybe Queen Mathilde should have worn her hair in an up do, which I think looks better with this dress. King Philippe's jacket is made of black velvet with satin lapels. Queen Sonja is also looking very chique in a black dress with a long lace shawl.

  5. Queen Mathilde looks stunning, beautiful velvet gown, the slight train, so elegant. Love the small bag, this is gorgeous. Her hair up close looks so lovely, soft and natural. Its hard to make out what Queen Sonia is wearing, but I love her single strand pearl necklace, the pearls are a beautiful size, of substance. Special mention of King Philippe, he looks well attired and groomed in his velvet jacket, his pants fit well. He looks fabulous.

Queen Mathilde as always présence of a queen in this adorable dark blue velvet Dior dress. But the whole picture looks very gloomy to me. It represents maybe the dark period the Norwegian royals are going through.

The pictures you are looking at are taken in a museum. The walls are dark and the spots are placed to lighten up the paintings. No wonder the ladies and gentlemen who are wearing black or dark clothes are melting together with the colors of the museum. It has nothing to do with what is happening to the Royal Family of Norway. People have sometimes too much imagination.

Queen Mathilde`s wardrobe through this visit has been superb, in style and colour choices. She has in all aspects been the personification of a confident and elegant Queen. Bravo!

  9. I am glad King Philippe got a (new?) velvet tuxedo matching his wife's dress. Which is glorious, as it was the first time around she wore it.

Queen Mathilde looks fabulous here--regal and elegant in this gorgeous navy blue velvet Dior gown. Queen Sonja also looks marvelous in her ensemble--I had to look closely to see that she was wearing trousers.

Do we need to be concerned about Harald? He doesn´t look well; in fact he looks like he doesn´t have much time left. He seems to have lost a lot of weight as well.

Yes the poor man does not look well. No doubt Mette-Marie and the Epstein matter have caused enormous stress and if he is battling an illness on top of this well it really is too bad. All good wishes and prayers for him.

Here you go again. King Harald is already ill quite a while. The same you say about the Epstein thing you said when King Harald's daughter was getting married with her sjamaan. He must be a strong man King Harald (probably a descendant of a viking) and one forget Queen Sonja too easily. Didn't she had an implant (pace-maker) at her hart not so long ago ? Whose fault is that ?.

Very nice color and style of gown. Q Sonja looks lovely, today all in black. King Harald looks frail; hope he is doing well. I wish him the best.
