She looks good with the shorter hair, red dress and brooch!

Agree the shorter hair makes her look younger

I like the shorter cut I just don't like the way they did the ends. I'm sure they were trying to do a "feathering" type cut (or something to that affect) but it just looks like she has split ends to me.

My personal dislike (I can't help it ...): this type of small upright collars. Unfailingly remind me of "Chinese party member uniform" in me. But other than that, very classic and simple and feminine (waistline and swishy skirt, but not too long). This is what the Sophie, Duchess of E. could wear very well (without the collar :-) - feminine without flowers and frills and whatnot, and not too long.

  4. The dress is gorgeous! Everything about it is beautiful. The vibrant red colour, the slits at the bottom, the neckline & the sleeves are all very interesting features. It's also the perfect length on Mary.

I think we have seen this beautiful dress on Mary on several other occasions.
    Perfect for Melbourne's Autumnal weather.

QM has had this dress in her closet for quite a while. I find myself saying that more often about QM than any other royal lady. This dress has a timeless elegance. I’m sure she could wear it in another five years and it would still cause the same response.
    Lowri.

My 5 cents: the cut of the dress is roughly the same as the blue one from yesterday, maybe opt for more variety, given she surely has many others. Perhaps she finds that cut of dresses best on her and feels most confident in them, hence the repeat. Otherwise she looks great, I wish she was wearing less makeup, looks like a mask to me, artificial and applied with surgical precision. Why not a more natural look?

Mwah…. A bit boring and the same as the blue dress she was wearing last day. I miss the glamour in her. It is very a monotonous style
