King Frederik X and Queen Mary are undertaking a state visit to Australia. On March 17, 2026, King Frederik and Queen Mary arrived in Melbourne, Victoria, where they were welcomed by Victoria's Governor Professor Margaret Gardner and her husband, Professor Glyn Davis, at the historic Government House in Melbourne. Following the reception, the King and Queen took a short walk in the Prahran redevelopment area.

King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark then visited the Port of Melbourne to explore the port’s role in the green transition and sustainable solutions in the maritime sector. The visit included the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and a tour presenting Danish solutions in renewable energy and green transition. They also visited Melbourne Cricket Ground. For the occasion, the Queen wore a red dress by Raquel Diniz.
