On March 24, 2026, King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited Eden Project in Cornwall to celebrate the landmark attraction's 25th anniversary. The King and Queen used a ceremonial sword to slice through a commemorative cake marking its 25th anniversary. They also visited St Austell’s Holy Trinity Church and the Market Hall.
The Eden Project is a visitor attraction in Cornwall, located in a reclaimed china clay pit. The complex is dominated by two large enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species. Funded by the Millennium Commission and intended as a way of re-energising the South West, the Eden Project opened in March 2001.
