Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, together with the Minister for Climate and Green Growth, Stientje van Veldhoven, visited Haarlem and Utrecht in connection with the start of the eleventh Week of the Circular Economy. On March 19, 2026, Queen Máxima visited NS Train Modernisation in Haarlem to observe the refurbishment of old trains using reused materials. The delegation travelled in a specially modernised double-decker train to Utrecht Zuilen.

DeleteI hear what you mean as this is the reason why I have been keeping a distance from this site for a while now.
I do not like trolls, nastiland and bad form so breaks from all this toxic and negative stuff are most welcome to me, too.
Just a few lines from me is all I want to contribuite and nothing else.
Although I am a fashionista myself, I don't feel like sharing my views on clothes anymore (a few hints at royal garments are more than enough from me) , at least not on this platform.

ReplyDeleteThe previous times Maxima wore this headband, she wore her hair out long. Today's hairstyle is one which I like a lot (there is good video footage showing the back) and I like that she has kept the swooping bang at the front, rather than pulling her bangs straight back as she did for one wear of this headband in 2023.
ReplyDeleteHowever I am not a fan of the modern minimalist earrings worn this time around -- for a headband this ornate, I prefer the diamond studs she wore with it in 2022.
But I still love the overall colour palette. It's always fascinating to see what changes Maxima makes with her rewears. Lyra

I find the superlatives ridiculous. A decent trouser suit, although the shoulders are a little too broad, in a nice colour is something many women wear on a daily basis for work - nothing unusual or remarkable. The shirt collar is untidy, a piecrust,nehru, boat or simple round neckline would be better. At least the somewhat childish headband keeps her hair at bay.
