On March 9, 2026, Charlotte Casiraghi attended the Chanel womenswear Fall/Winter 2026–2027 show as part of Paris Fashion Week in Paris, France. Paris Fashion Week includes a series of designer presentations and is held twice a year in Paris. For the occasion, Charlotte Casiraghi wore a green tweed skirt suit from Chanel’s Métiers d’Art 2026 collection.

I love the emerald green colour of this suit. The fun, frilly trim is an updated addition to the classic look. I don't think they are necessary on the skirt. It's a bit of an overkill. For some reason the jacket makes Charlotte look like she has rolls of fat on her belly due to some sagging. I don't think she does as she has a great figure.
ردحذفIt is a question of posing and posture too. Compare to the model. Additionally, there is a reason why the model does not close the jacket at the bottom . Charlotte does and the result are the rolls :-)

I love the outfit but I wish she would stand up straight. Perhaps slouching is supposed to be part of the pouty look.

ردحذفI agree. I'm sure it would cost a regular client thousands, but the excess frill and coarse knit make the ensemble look like a knock-off.

About the same Chanel suit my boss wore during the early 70s.
ردحذفThe choice of the white shoes with black noses I do not like very much, but the model is wearing them too. The jacket is not falling quite well in the waist area. It is more visible on Charlotte than on the model. Perhaps one must always unbutton the jacket when sitting down. A sort of canvas is sometimes sewed between the fabric and the lining to give support to the typical light fabric in which the Chanel suits are usually made.
Je n'aime pas du tout ce tailleur épais qui ne flatté pas Charlotte qui en plus très souvent se tient mal.
ردحذفI don't find this Chanel suit appealing or attractive whatsoever, it has no redeeming qualities. The trim of the ensemble I don't like, nor the texture of the fabric. The shoes are a fail, not with this outfit.

ردحذفWhile I don't think this green is a great colour for Charlotte, she usually wears a classic Chanel suit very well -- but this case the Chanel formula just isn't working for her. There is something unusual about the fabric which is described as "tweed" but looks very different, and it seems to be tending to stretch, almost as if the jacket is tight -- which is encouraging the creasing. To deal with this, Charlotte would need to wear only 1, or maximum 2, buttons done up to avoid creases forming -- especially when sitting down (exactly as a man would do with his coat jacket when sitting).
ردحذفHer pumps with the red balls skewered onto the heels are a bit of whimsy, and a statement in their own right; but I think they need a VERY plain single colour dress in order to show them off to maximum advantage. Lyra
