On February 6, 2026, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, and Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands; Prince Albert II of Monaco; Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence; and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg attended the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games at San Siro Stadium in Milan.

Ahead of the opening ceremony, King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, Princess Catharina-Amalia, Prince Albert II, Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence, and Grand Duke Henri attended a reception for heads of state hosted by Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, at the Palazzo Reale, in the presence of Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy.
