On February 12, 2026, the Princess of Wales visited Castle Hill Academy in New Addington in Croydon in support of Children's Mental Health Week 2026. The school works closely with the charity Place2Be. Together, the organisations help build trusted relationships through creativity and play. The Princess is Patron of Place2Be.
Joining an arts classroom for students aged between nine and 11, the Princess watched as several children designed "belonging maps", which help the youngsters consider the people, places and experiences that make them feel secure. Place2Be is a mental health charity for children and young people, providing counselling, mental health support, and training in schools across the UK.

I like the length of her pants with these shoes. She likes skinny leg pants, which she can wear, for me I prefer a little less form fitting. The jacket, blouse, pants are a nice combination.
ReplyDeletethis is to casual, bring back duchess of cambridge
Delete22:15. The Princess knows the event and formality - we simply cannot! - to say it’s too casual is laughable for me! And please do not bring back a disgraced Meghan who tore up family relationships in Britain and has shown herself unworthy to represent the family.
DeleteAnon 06:09, what has Meghan to do with this post? BRF has much more disgraced people and bigger problems to think about than Meghan. Meghan has done nothing criminal. Your comment is very odd, I would even say laughable.
Delete😂 I think Anon 0649 is mixing up Duchess of Cambridge with Duchess of Sussex
DeleteI really like her shoes with this outfit. She wears so many beautiful heels it's nice to see her dressed so casually. The rest of the look is very average but the loafers are great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and invested Catherine! MR
ReplyDelete@ picture 4: Can this PERSON to the left of H.R.H....PLEASE SMILE??????????
ReplyDelete18:22. Why? She looks like she’s concentrating. Seems valid. Like, perfectly valid.
DeleteH.R.H. is doing SUCH A GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteVery utilitarian with all solid colors but happy to see the blue top added to an otherwise all brown outfit.
ReplyDeleteYes I think dark brown is a difficult color to wear, even for Prss Catherine.
DeleteNatural royal beauty!
ReplyDeleteL’ensemble décontracté parfaitement combiné lui va à ravir surtout qu’elle est chaussée de superbes mocassins !
ReplyDeleteI can't think of a professional working woman who wouldn't want to look like this. Clean, polished, and considered. Kate looks great!
ReplyDeleteI am a professional working woman and I would NEVER dress like this to meet people. The casual trousers along with the ugly shoes, no way! She has plenty of smart pants suits, coat dresses or even coats worn with skirts and boots.
DeleteLooking good Pow
ReplyDeletecss.
Agree with others: the loafers are terrific. But the jacket and pants combo seem to clash in color with one another. Not a good choice. Good color of shirt. Hair seems lighter in the daylight photos than indoors, but I just don't like it. She styled her hair so much nicer 4 or 5 years ago. Check out old photos. This is no flattering to her face.
ReplyDeleteI agree regarding her hair. It is not as becoming as it used to be. Her choice but not necessarily the best look
DeleteYes, I would also think that it is time she considers a hairstyle change, with a color closer to her original one.
DeleteI pick up some of these children to castle hill .as a pa.nice to see one of them in the picture.
ReplyDeleteWow brown, boring. Now remember Queen Elizabeth wore beautiful colours so everybody could see her.She looks like a mum at a school run off to do the shopping.(Tara)
ReplyDeleteI think that is what a lot of (young) royals are doing lately, looking like an average person. To me it has something to do with everything what is going on in the world today.
DeleteQueen Elizabeth's colours were fine for her, but in no way suitable for a younger person.
DeleteMy childrens nanny dresses just like Catherine yep she looks average. Queen Elizabeth was bright and cheery, well Catherine is 40
Delete11:09. How discriminatory.
DeleteAgree totally with you, Tara, The Princess of Wales is actually 44, so not ‘young’ but why does Anon 1427 think mention of her age is discriminatory? I also don’t understand Mary T’s comment that right colours are not appropriate for younger people. Think about Queen Maxima or. Mathilde , just a decade or so older, or their daughters, about twenty years younger. You don’t see them in drab brown clothes and flat shoes
DeleteDiscriminatory is comparing the princess to a nanny and call her average.
DeleteWhy demean nannies?
Looks like she’s wearing a wig on the 1st pic ?!
ReplyDeleteKaren
Ah stop this intrusive wig number. Ridiculous ideas and suspects are best enjoyed in private (in your head please). Talk about what is clearly visible and fashion related.
Delete@ Karen & 08:27
DeleteMaybe she isn't wearing a wig, but the blonder parts are sometimes applied so badly that I also thought not of a wig but of extensions. The dark parts end suddenly to make place for the blonder parts. It was on another picture I saw from this visit. On those we see here it is more or less O.K. She is looking more healthier than in the beginning when she started to make a visit now and then. I hope for her she can leave that bad period in her life behind forever and ever.
A lot of brown outfits lately, but I do like them. I'm glad to see flats!
ReplyDeleteThough the pants and jacket are different shades of brown, I don't mind that at all in this instance. I have never put pale blue and brown together, but I like it. In this combination it works well, I will try that myself. The light blue blouse is very appealing and attractive. Love the darker brown shade of pants, they fit beautifully, not baggy and the perfect length. The blazer, I love, I like the design and again the fit is very good. The Loafers, are wonderful, I love them, they suit her perfectly. I feel this outfit does not overtake the visit she undertook, well done to her. A lovely visit, she looks well and engaging. Its marvelous to see.
ReplyDeletePale blue with all shades of brown is usually fine, often better than white. The fit, the shoes, everything is nice, only thing I personally don't like is brown overdone. I mean I don´t like brown, but I know it is fashion now so I "accept" it, but why overdo it by combining different dark browns together?
DeleteHello, dearest @ Ava, how are you doing?
DeleteI am fine, still on the move , this seems to be a neverending week to me!
You know, this is a time when I think the context is more meaningful than a royal lady's fashion choices.
I love the way Princess Catherine approaches children and young people, she is so genuinely interested in their overall wellbeing.
They seem to be her universe and it is pretty obvious that she enjoys interacting with them.
Fashionwise, yes I do agree with your comment.
I wouldn't normally combine blue and brown shades but they look to be working well together in this instance.
The loafers are fabulous as is her hazelnut hair shade (as shown in Pic 1).
Hugs!!!
👍💪👋
Anon 08.31 Yes understand. Combination of browns, though in my case, I don't mind the dark shades.
DeleteP the original. Lovely to see your comment. Thank you so much. Glad to see you commenting again! Yes, she really assimilates well with the young ones and has a real affinity with small children. It's wonderful to see her interaction with them. I feel so too, she genuinely does seem to enjoy every moment she is very authentic and it shows ! Yes, I have never combined these colors, but I am going to give it a try! I feel they work well here. One of the things I love about this fashion blog, the new fashion tips, I have learned along the way, from Helen and the bloggers! The Loafers I love! Yes, Pic 1 her hair looks stunning, color and volume. Its wonderful to see her looking so well and healthy. Hugs.
DeleteHello, @ Ava .
DeleteThank you so much for your kind reply.
Besides/ beyond any fashion comment, it is marvellous to see P.Catherine looking so well and healthy.
That's what really matters after all.
She is definitely back to what she loves most, interacting with the young ones.
She is more invested and engaging than ever, a joy to see.
Hugs!!!
@06.49 Duchess of Cambridge is one of Catherine`s titles, Markle is duchess of sussex.
ReplyDelete@00.17 how does that look like a wig? Or are you just looking for something negative?
I think Catherine has got this outfit absolutely right for the event, and the loafers are spot on.
Well said !
DeleteKate looks just great !!
Encore cette perruque ???
