Earlier this week, the Princess of Wales visited The Arc gallery in Winchester for a private viewing of the Beauty of the Earth exhibition, which showcases the artistic legacy of William Morris alongside the works of his wife, Jane, and daughter, May. On January 31, 2026, the Princess shared a video from her visit to The Arc in Winchester, describing the exhibition as “a powerful reminder of the connection between nature, creativity, and craft.”
The Beauty of the Earth exhibition at The Arc brings together works by William Morris alongside pieces by his wife Jane and daughter May, offering visitors insight into the family’s collective artistic output. The exhibition opened to the public on 15 November 2025 and is scheduled to run until 4 February 2026.

Lovely relaxed look for a quiet visit.
ReplyDeleteI love that the Princess is wearing flat shoes (see video). It is such a modern, stylish and fashion-forward alternative to stiletto heels. I dont mind stilettos, but it's refreshing when more royals explore less traditional footwear options when styling smart pants. Lyra
ReplyDeleteAgree Lyra! Two days running I 100% agree with you!
DeleteAgree with Lyra! There where times in my life when I did not even own a pair of flats. I never would have thought I could get foot problems... sigh.... Now in my fifties I know better!
DeleteI've always been a flats girlie, so I too love it when royal ladies wear flat footwear.

Nice coat and scarf, good colours for her. I liked her hair better at shoulder length, I know it is her choice.
ReplyDeleteI also feel that her hair drags down her face a bit. The camel coat is yummy.

Maybe she is going to donate her hair to Locks of Love or another such charity.
DeleteLooks to be a good fitting and well made Camel cashmere coat, it would be so warm. The orange colored scarf is a re wear, she wore this 2016 (read on Instagram.) on tour. I love to see these re wears.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I love to see the rewears. The only person I don’t think we often (ever?) see a rewear on is Charlene?
DeleteAnon 07:18 Yes, I thought about this and I feel you are right. I cannot recall a rewear either with Princess Charlene. I really love what Queen Mary does with her rewears, particularly how she can literally remodel a gown. Her day wear the same. The Princess Royal comes to mind, I love her rewears, no matter the vintage!
DeleteThis had to be an uplifting visit for the Princess of Wales, given her well-known interest in visual arts and the healing power of the Earth.
ReplyDeleteI myself much appreciate all of William Morris's works, including his novel "News from Nowhere".
Fashionwise, the Princess opted for classic elegance, exquisite Burberry coat, surely warm and practical.
It looks like she wore a black combo of a turtleneck plus pants underneath well paired with the coat camel shade and the rust red coloured scarf.
The indoors lighting emphasizes her beautiful makeup palette and bronde hair shade with seemingly honey coloured highlights.
Well done to her.
Correction: her pants look to be beige coloured.
DeleteElegant & Stylish ❤️
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coat but perhpas a size too small, the sleeves look tight
ReplyDeleteLa coupe de ce manteau convient parfaitement à sa morphologie surtout dans sa couleur camel !
ReplyDeleteElegant as always and dresses for the visit as is required. I must say though that I did love the Catherine with her in the plait she wore for her walk she looks so at home in the countryside. Cally.
ReplyDeleteBurberry always a good choice. Like the color of the coat. Must say her hair is really long now.
