Earlier this week, the Princess of Wales visited The Arc gallery in Winchester for a private viewing of the Beauty of the Earth exhibition, which showcases the artistic legacy of William Morris alongside the works of his wife, Jane, and daughter, May. On January 31, 2026, the Princess shared a video from her visit to The Arc in Winchester, describing the exhibition as “a powerful reminder of the connection between nature, creativity, and craft.”
The Beauty of the Earth exhibition at The Arc brings together works by William Morris alongside pieces by his wife Jane and daughter May, offering visitors insight into the family’s collective artistic output. The exhibition opened to the public on 15 November 2025 and is scheduled to run until 4 February 2026.

I really love what Queen Mary does with her rewears, particularly how she can literally remodel a gown. Her day wear the same. The Princess Royal comes to mind, I love her rewears, no matter the vintage!

Charlene wins the “spent most money by far and away ahead of all royal woman” category every year, which I always find disproportionate, given the tiny size of their principality and the smallness of their engagements (local nursing home, little kindergarten, casual swimming meeting, boat burning, …).

حذفThere are two ways of commenting on Princess Charlene:
1. comparing her with other royal ladies fashionwise (not recommended);
2. commenting on her clothes in context, that is to say taking into consideration the most esclusive Monaco context in which she moves and carries out her engagements, regardless of the Principality dimensions or the number of her public duties.
It is pretty hard to understand Charlene always donning new outfits without knowing/ having seen from direct experience the very high life standards found in Monaco (this gets much more relevant if you are THE Princess of Monaco and are publicly exposed because of your role).
Saying" Monaco" equals to calling to mind extreme wealth, exclusive places and people, glamour everywhere, redidents and visitors trying hard to glamourizing everything they wear and do, as opposed to a very tiny percentage of disadvantaged locals (helped and supported by organisations such as the Red Cross).
The Princess of Monaco has to live up to the locals' expectations first and foremost and then she has to represent the local community on the international scene.
That's why we will never see her re-:wearing anything.
She is supposed to fulfil high expectations, show a considerable amount of wealth and means and that's exactly what she does.

ردحذفI myself much appreciate all of William Morris's works, including his novel "News from Nowhere".
Fashionwise, the Princess opted for classic elegance, exquisite Burberry coat, surely warm and practical.
It looks like she wore a black combo of a turtleneck plus pants underneath well paired with the coat camel shade and the rust red coloured scarf.
The indoors lighting emphasizes her beautiful makeup palette and bronde hair shade with seemingly honey coloured highlights.
Well done to her.
