On the evening of February 22, 2026, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the 79th British Academy Film Awards ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in London. The Princess attended the ceremony for the first time in three years alongside Prince William, President of BAFTA. The British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTA Awards, is an annual film award show hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.
The Princess of Wales wore a Gucci dress at the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards, which she had previously worn in 2019 at an event for the charitable initiative 100 Women in Finance, of which she is patron. She also wore the Greville Diamond Chandelier Earrings and Queen Mary’s Diamond Rivière Bracelet.
This is one of her loveliest "romantic" dresses, I loved it 2019 and I love it now. But what a pity that we cannot see the whole dress because ... you-know-what is everywhere over it, like a shawl :-)) . حذفWhat makes you think she has hair extensions? From my observation, her hair is always the same volume, even when she wears it in a bun sometimes, it's a big bun. Simply put, her hair is consistently voluminous, so your opinion is probably based on false information.

حذفI'm quite surprised by all the negative comments on her hair. It's as if people were not allowed to have longer hair at all any more. Plus all the "hair extension" suspicions, they sound quite odd too. I'm a long-haired person myself and her hair looks natural to me, without any extensions, and although I am more used to seeing her in darker hair, it may be that her cancer and the treatments have also affected her hair and the hair color. It's not unnatural at all, quite the contrary.

I guess the Princess has a private in salon and one or more hairdresser(s) at hand, especially when accurate hairstyles are requested for her official engagements.
She can surely rely on the best hair products and all these elements make a difference.
There are no extensions on Catherine's hair, just a lot of regular professional care.
There is an immense variety of dyeing products available on the International markets, from toning shampoos with a temporary effect to permanent hair colours.
A synergy of professional tools is recommended for stunning results, too.
I myself have an extensive experience of professional care as I regularly visit dedicated hair salons for flight crews in some airports.
Catherine's hairstyle rounds off so well her romantic, ethereal gown combining dainty mauve and rose shades .
Prince William is dapper as always.

As to cancer conditioning Catherine's hair and hair colour,
it might be, at least partially.

Catherine doesn’t need extensions as she is gifted with voluminous hair. I think she looks young and fresh with the combination of dress and hairstyle. I also have a feeling her husband likes her hair length. MR

While I do love the Princess of Wales this look is not one of the best ones for me. Her hair is everywhere, some sort of updo would have been nice. The dress itself is okay, nothing special. I also saw a video of her and Prince William walking on the red carpet and she did not walk gracefully at all, or at least that’s what it looked like. Maybe her hair was bothering her but something definitely was not right. Anyway, it’s always a pleasure to see her and her beautiful smile. Larina

The diamond bracelet is the perfect addition, wonderful to see her wear it. Love the diamond earrings, they are of substance and look fabulous. I would have loved an necklace, may have been too much, but that's me! Her small deep rich colored evening clutch looks wonderful, the same color as her belt, clever match. Her hair and makeup are on point. Prince William's jacket color, I love! also matching in with Catherine, nice! He looks well groomed and attired.

ردحذفAlthough I’ve never been a fan of this dress, the fit is perfect and I also like the belt coordinating with William’s fabulous burgundy velvet jacket. The accessories all work, but I’m not a fan of the hairstyle. A smooth bouncy blowout or half up style may have been a better match with a formal gown.
ردحذفYes I agree, Catherine’s dress fits her beautifully. I find it so romantic, the flowing lines, the fading colours, and for me her soft and natural like this is absolutely perfect for the gown. An updo or half up would have also looked excellent.

The other day CP Catherine's hair was darker more like her natural color. Today it is blonder again, unless it are extensions which are blonder than her natural hair.

I'll never get used to CP William's beard, it makes him older than he is. I don't know who is doing CP Catherine's make-up, but lately her too dark eyeshadow is always bigger on her left eye than on her right eye.

Mais, respectueusement, depuis ses soucis de santé, le port de ses cheveux longs, trop longs pour moi, ne l’avantage pas toujours et nous donne l’impression de traits tirés . Au bout du compte, l’important c’est qu’elle se sente bien, pour le reste, ce n’est que purement esthétique, pas nécessairement important. Ceci étant dit, avez-vous remarqué que Sur l’une des photos, on voit les souliers qu’elle porte, Je dois dire que je les adore.
