Together with representatives of the World Childhood Foundation Germany, Queen Silvia visited the Childhood-Haus in Flensburg, Germany, on February 6. During the visit, the Queen took part in a steering committee meeting, where she was briefed on the Childhood-Haus strategy, how planning is coordinated at all levels, and the cross-sectoral engagement of the social, interior, justice, and health ministries in Flensburg.
The visit concluded with a lunch attended by around twenty guests from the steering committee meeting, as well as philanthropists. Through Childhood, the Queen has promoted the Barnahus model over the past 20 years in Sweden, Germany, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine. At a Barnahus, children who have been subjected to sexual abuse receive support and protection under one roof.

She always looks well put together. She knows how proportions work for her as well as colour combinations
ReplyDeleteWhy?
ReplyDeleteLa reine est bien chic dans ce tailleur-pantalon porté sur un léger pull à petit col roulé !
ReplyDeleteThe last button on her jacket should be fastened.
ReplyDeleteShould? I think that’s a decision for Queen Silvia to make.
DeleteWhy the last? Why not the first? or the second? :-)) She looks elegant as ever and I keep loving her small feminine jackets.
DeleteThis website is a platform to make comments about clothes, so don't be negative 20:01 about someone else's opinion.
ReplyDeleteIt is an opinion if it sounds like an opinion. There is a difference between saying "the Queen should do this or that" (talks about the Queen) or saying "in my opinion, that last button could look better closed" (=talks about herself/her own opinion). It is a fine but important difference.
DeleteNice to see her again. Nice combination of her outfit. She does a great job with Childhood Foundation.

The Queen looks lovely. This ensemble is appropriate for this visit, she always gets it right. Her clothes always fit her beautifully. The b/white jacket looks good, as does the white turtleneck, combined with the black pants, good choice. What a wonderful foundation, the Queen does such great work, of substance.
ReplyDeleteJe trouve toujours la Reine Sylvia toujours élégante
