On Thursday evening, 26 February 2026, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands attended the annual Iftar gathering of MKB Den Haag at the Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus in Scheveningen, The Hague. The MKB-Nederland is the largest entrepreneurs’ organisation in the Netherlands. Iftar is the meal eaten by Muslims at sunset during Ramadan to break the daily fast. During the meal, Queen Máxima spoke with a number of invited guests.

Love this dress. Fabulous cut and fabric, and a perfect shape for this queen.
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit wild, even distracting, that Maxima's hair gets caught in the feathers... but it's a small price to pay in order to show the public such an exquisite creation. Lyra
Superb! Love the colour, the shape of the dress and her hair is wonderful. A joy to see her
ReplyDeleteThe Queen is resplendent in navy! Lovely hairstyle and makeup! MR
ReplyDelete素敵!
ReplyDeleteI love this dress. Maxima has the flair to wear this dress with confidence. I love the Navy color of this dress, the shoes and clutch also same. Lovely presentation by the Queen.
ReplyDeleteSuperbe robe
ReplyDeletePour moi Maxima est la plus belle reine du monde. Oui du monde. La dernière photo le prouve, quelle allure
DeleteSans oublier sa personnalité.
Such lush, rich silk. In the last shot the lines are perfection, not a tug or wrinkle anywhere
ReplyDeleteThe corsage should have been a bit bigger to give more effect!!
ReplyDeleteI join this unanimity, I like it very much, it suits her perfectly. I hope there will be will occasions to see it again.
ReplyDeleteMagnifique Maxima , un vrai rayon de soleil
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
Magnifique robe aux lignes pures ; sa coiffure ainsi que son maquillage délicat complètent à merveille son look !
ReplyDeleteMax absolutely knocking it out of the park. Glorious.
ReplyDeleteWonderfulness all around, the woman, the dress, the smile. First thought: Maria Teresa from Luxembourg visited, forgot her big flower and Máx immediately pinned it on? :-)
ReplyDeleteThis appears to be a dress/jacket combo as the top falls away from the skirt on pic 2 as she leans to shake hands. Lovely colour, unnecessary feathers and definite 1950`s cocktail dress vibes.
ReplyDeleteA well-groomed queen, but it still rubs me a little. No offense, but her face and hair give an unnatural look, and for me personally, it becomes a kind of stage play, in which she plays her own role. I'd rather encounter her in the woods when I'm walking my dog; she's truly herself and unrecognizable. I can tell by her dogs and the security guard following behind that it's her. I prefer her natural self.
ReplyDelete“No offense (sic) but… “ is never followed by kindness. But you are right, there is a certain element of acting in any public role where you have to show up to media, criticism, crowds and performance your role with joy, flair and professionalism. This should not be a criticism however.
DeleteBeautiful dress and appearance. But has she been face-lifted again? Rumours??
ReplyDeleteI thought so too !!
DeleteQueen Maxima wears indeed a navy silk skirt and top (blouse) by Natan.
ReplyDeleteSo far no comments about the silk material (which was always considered too stiff in the past). Queen Maxima has another skirt and top in the same navy silk. Nobody knows for sure if it is the same skirt with another top or a complete different 2 pieces in the same fabric and color. On earlier occasions she wore the same top with the corsage made of feathers on navy pants in another fabric. I like Maxima in this color. I also like the top and skirt. Her blond hair is matching the navy color perfectly.
The dress is too heavy and stiff. And again, the wig is much too big. It's strange that she rarely attends a Dutch religious festival.
ReplyDeleteAre there "Dutch religious festivals" ? If so what kind of festivals are they ? I have always heard that Queen Maxima kept her catholic belief but that she assists at the ceremonies of the Nederlandse Hervormde Kerk together with King Willem Alexander and the princeses if necessary. A silk dress cannot be too heavy. The dress has the typical 1950s cocktail style. She doesn't wear a wig, a couple or 3 extensions maybe. Princess Catherine's hair is much bigger and is considered as being natural with not extensions ?
DeleteI like her outfit and her hair and I know many (young and older) men who like Queen Maxima's and find her a beautiful and attractive woman.
When I saw the pic, I first thought it was Duchess Sophie. And that made me realize how beautiful this hair color would look on her. The current hair color - which I assume it is - is far too pale and it makes her look washed out. A brighter golden blonde such as QMax's looks wonderful and would instantly elevate her look.
ReplyDeleteQMax looks spectacular here. She usually keeps things natural so I am not sure if she's got some work done but she looks like how she did almost 15 years ago. As someone who closely follows facial surgery work, I think she might have gotten an upper blepharoplasty and perhaps some botox. Thankfully, no fillers.
