Queen Camilla visited the headquarters of Avon and Somerset Police, where she heard about their work tackling domestic abuse and sexual violence, spoke to 999 call handlers, and met members of the service’s domestic abuse survivors’ group. Arriving at the headquarters, the Queen was welcomed by Chief Constable Sarah Crew and Superintendent Sharon Baker.
During a tour of the control room, the Queen heard from a call handler with experience of dealing with domestic abuse calls. The force receives approximately 34,000 of these calls per year. The Queen was shown the systems used to respond to calls and Avon and Somerset Police’s approach to supporting vulnerable victims.
Nice suit in good colour. Queen Camilla seems to me to be a good and interested listener in these visites.

DeleteOh a two-piece, very nice! Though I am in favour of shorter skirts, maybe this longer one works, pity we cannot see her standing (but Helen does her magic sometimes later) . But a skirt suit is a win in any case. The colour is also good on her.

ReplyDeleteSomeone will say that Q Camilla's jacket is too tight and they will be right. It probably looked good when standing up, but too tight when sitting down.

DeleteAgree that it’s a nice jacket but it’s not at all flattering when Queen Camilla is seated. The pleated skirt looks good but appears to be very long. And is it all accessorised but the inevitable black boots. However, it is good to see Queen Camilla trying something a little different and the colour is great

La Reine Camilla, depuis son mariage en 2005 a adopté lorqu'elle apparait en public, de toujours porter ses bras derrière le dos, tout comme le faisait en public, feue la Reine Elizabeth. Il arrive ce qu'il doit arriver: parfois la veste semble tirer de part et d'autre et elle redevient normal lors d'une autre prestation. Ceci dit, je lui tire mon chapeau pour tout le travail qu'elle fait auprès de ses parrainages. Elle supporte très bien son mari et ce dernier lui en est certainement très être reconnaissant. ReplyDeleteUpon closer view, the fabric is a pattern (maybe a tartan?), which seems a lot for a jacket and full length skirt. But the overall color impression looks great on the Queen.
ReplyDeleteI like this two piece suit very much, particularly the pleated skirt, this is very becoming. The jacket fits well. The color scheme here is lovely. I think she is wearing a scarf, but its really not visible.
