On February 12, 2026, Princess Caroline of Hanover visited the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco’s (NMNM) new exhibition, “The Feeling of Nature: Contemporary Art in the Mirror of Poussin,” at Villa Paloma in Monaco. Nicolas Poussin (1594–1665) is regarded as one of the first painters to treat Nature as a central subject rather than merely a backdrop.

The exhibition is presented in six sections – Storms and Nights; Forests and Gardens; Seascapes and Waterfalls; Deserts and Volcanoes; Mountains; and Flowers and Butterflies – each offering a different perspective on what in Antiquity was known as miracula naturae, the marvels of nature. The exhibition will be on display until 25 May.

Nice combination only her pants is too long, like the coat. Is one of the men on her left wearing house shoes, or loafers?

  2. I do love this white coat, the Max Mara design is beautiful, the contrast buttons are effective. I like the length of her coat. The black pants are too long. Love her handbag, lovely. The gold hooped earrings, I love! are of substance and perfect size. I would love to have these in my jewel box! I love gold hoop earrings, especially this size and thickness.

I simply enjoy the way you describe jewellery pieces, well done!
I like and have similar pairs of gold hoop earrings.
I think that they are so versatile, they can round off whatever kind of outfit, from the most casual to sophisticated ones.
      Re: P.Caroline's bag.
I'd say it is a Kelly design (large size), at least by the look of it.
The Max Mara coat is a statement piece per se, marvellous.

      Hallo @Sabsi,

This type of coats have no lining. They are not that thick and warm as other classic woolen coats with a lining. During winter when it is really cold they are worn often with a pant suit underneath.

@18:51- The Max Mara Icon Coat has a lining according to the description given on the brand website.
The material is a blend of wool and cashmere.

  9. I like the coat but at my first glance at the 3rd photo I thought it was a priest’s outfit. Maybe it’s the pairing with the very long trousers but not a fan of the overall look.
