Zara Tindall welcomed the New Year by attending the New Year’s Day races at Cheltenham Racecourse with her family. On January 1, 2026, she was joined by her husband, Mike Tindall, and their children, Lena and Lucas, at the Cheltenham New Year’s Day Race Meeting. Zara was also accompanied by her nieces, Savannah and Isla Phillips. For the occasion, Zara wore a double-breasted light brown and beige tweed wool coat by L’Agence.

This is a beautiful, well made, good quality coat. I love everything about it. The colors are gorgeous, the fabric pattern, lovely! Her brown boots, gloves and underclothes look splendid, well put together. The only thing I don't like is the headband and color. She looks elegant and very stylish.
ReplyDeleteRe the headband I think she may have selected it to go with the same colour in the coat and her eyes and that it’s simpler to wear all day than a hat but still conforms to dress code?
DeleteMy thoughts exactly, @Ava.
DeleteThe turquoise headband is jarring, otherwise a well put together, warm and sleek ensemble.
Hugs!!!
Agreed, love this outfit from shoulders to toes!
DeleteJe comprend que le monsieur n’est pas grand mais la belle Zara semble très grande.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a beautiful coat! I love it.

Very beautiful coat but it comes at a price: nearly €1600 !
ReplyDeleteAlways interesting, thank you! 1600 or 16000? I guess for a quality classic woollen coat that can be worn for many days for many winters the price is not too steep. If it only gets a few wears it’s expensive! But still cheaper than a lot of eg Charlene’s garments that are worn once.
ReplyDeleteThere are two reasons why the headband doesn't look good :
ReplyDelete1. the color is not a good choice
2. her new hairstyle (which I liked very much when it was just done) does not go well together with a headband.
I like the headband so to my eyes it does look good. Perfectly picks up the blue in her coat!
DeleteAlso in attendance was Harriet Sperling, the fiancée of Peter Phillips (brother to Zara Tindall), and I thought she looked splendid. Not featured here, though.
ReplyDeleteAgree! Harriet Sperling is so stylish and she looked amazing. Wish we could see more of her.

DeleteAt first glance it looks great. On second look I feel it is too tight, pulling at the bottom button and tight around the arm. It may come at a hefty price, however I find the workmanship lacks. A really high quality garment would have the pattern lines line up at the arms and seams, lapels would have the same pattern. This takes more fabric, so this coat would actually cost more if these small details were adhered to. It is a nice coat, boots work well with it, the headband is okay as it does pick up a colour in the coat.
ReplyDeleteI like these comments where I learn about the sewing / cutting techniques.
DeleteEinfach lächerlich!
ReplyDeleteI like the boots and what I can see of the purse. Hate the headband but it’s just a brighter shade of the one in the coat. I find the coat bland. Nice that the entire family was out though. I”ll have to look for Harriet Sperling.
ReplyDeleteNice look for Zara. The children are growing very fast.
