On 27 January 2026, the Princess of Wales visited the north of England to highlight how community, nature and creativity can support those facing trauma, isolation and mental health challenges. The Princess carried out several engagements, including visits to Family Action in Bradford and Trinity Rugby League Club in Wakefield. She first visited Family Action’s Children’s Trauma Therapy Service in Bradford.
The Princess has been a patron of Family Action since 2019, having taken over the role from Queen Elizabeth II, who previously held the patronage for 66 years. The charity works with local communities in England, Wales and the Isle of Man to protect children, young people and adults, offering direct and practical support. For her final engagement of the day, the Princess visited the Peak District National Park with Mind Over Mountains.

Why those curtains??
ReplyDelete???? Or do you mean her beautiful hair?
Delete-B.
Sooo nasty comment 😳
DeleteWhat the hell are you talking about? You nasty vile person. There is no room for that behaviour. There are way to say something. Shame you have never taught manners.
DeleteThere is something so exquisitely British about these looks. She looks so natural, professional, and neat. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, so polished and natural in every setting! MR
DeleteAgree! She looks relaxed and lovely.
DeleteOff- topic
ReplyDeleteI am a bit surprised at seeing no posts on Holocaust Memorial Day as honored by Royal Families internationally.
I can understand that some royals most likely had already planned other engagements for today , except for the Danish Royal Couple currently paying a state visit to one of the Baltic countries.
The history of Estonia is strongly connected with Nazi occupation, too, though there would be much more to say on this topic.
.........
Lest we forget.
Agree !!
DeleteAgree !!
DeleteKing Charles III received Holocaust survivors today, and also HRH The Duke of Kent attended a commemorative event.
DeleteAgree, P the original.
DeleteThank you so much, @ DSC.
DeleteYou are right.
The post on King Charles III was published after I had written my 20:08 comment.
Hello, dearest @ Ava.
DeleteI am on a short break from work and can post more comments on the blog.
Helen did a wonderful job by adding a post on The Holocaust Memorial Day, much appreciated.
Unfortunately, human kind seem to have learned nothing from the most brutal pages of contemporary history.
Other immense tragedies are looming, that's how I see it, though I know this fashion blog is not the right place for political debates.
Hugs!!!

DeleteWe don’t want to offend our new imported leaders from the religion of peace now don’t we?

P the original. Lovely to see you presently with regularity here on the blog. Wonderful you are on a short break, I hope its enjoyable and restful you enjoy some down time, nice!!!!!.
DeleteYes, its so sensitive to the topic and well done, beautifully displayed on the blog, The Holocaust Memorial Day.
Yes agree totally, political debates we leave alone!
Take care. Hugs!
I’ve always thought Catherine is far happier in outdoor activities than other royal activities. She herself is not a fashionista, even though the press seems to think so. She is a Berkshire outdoorsy girl through and through. She sees clothes as garments and lacks the finer detail eye that can transform an ensemble. By no means is that a slight or fault but an observation.
ReplyDeleteI hope she wears her hair in a neat formation going forward it looks so much more flattering.
Lowri.
I think she has beautiful and healthy hair, and it also looks much more natural that way. Keeping it in a "neat formation" would probably require lots of hair spray etc. And it would look really odd on her.

I have a feeling Prince William likes her long, flowing hair. She has plenty of time to have short hair when she is older. MR
DeleteHer hair does not have to be short , just shorter to shoulder like the length she had it when she dated William. The texture is changing because of the colouring/ highlights.
DeleteHer hair does not have to be anything except what it is! What she wants! It’s HER HAIR.

DeleteYou stated a simple, basic truth some people are reluctant to accept on this blog.
The hair owner is the only person who can decide what to do with all the parts of her body.
She doesn't have to align with the public's preferences and expectations.
- Dorothe -
ReplyDelete@20.08 what has the topic you mention got to do with fashion? Look at the post of the BRF!
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of the brown; the style of the jacket is good (Tara)
ReplyDeleteIts wonderful to see a re wear of this HC Blazer, its beautifully crafted, its more of a snug fit when buttoned, I like this coat, it has very interesting features. I like the combined brownish additions, the turtleneck. The pants I love, though wide legged they are not baggy, good length and fit well.
ReplyDeleteThe casual wear, I love! I wish I looked this chic and stylish on my walks!, I love every item the Princess wore on this Well being walk. She looked layered up and warm, as she should have been obviously cold. The hair plait on her Well being walk, love it!
ReplyDeleteI like Princess Catherine's blazer. Although brown colors are fashion this winter, I do not like the bric brown of her pants. Her outdoor outfit looks good, but again the super slim pants are really out of fashion. Straight sporty pants for outdoor activities are better (cfr. CP Victoria who is always looking good in outdoor clothes). I like the hat, but if I would wear one like this to do a walk into nature it would be considered as weird by the other people who are walking there too.
ReplyDeleteCompletely agree! The brown work pants are awful, but the sporty outfit is somewhat better.
DeleteCe blazer croisé est tout à fait dans un style qui me conviendrait même si j'opterais pour une couleur autre que du marron !

ReplyDeleteShe looks lovely in her outdoor clothes. So british! In the first picture you see clearing that she has an extra hairpiece on the back. She has wonderful hair herself but maybe it's not yet fully recovered from the heavy treatments?

ReplyDeleteKate Middleton steps out to visit Family Action Centre Where Young Kids do Therapy😫😫😫😫😫😫
What was the "impact" of these visits?
Did the couple's charitable foundation donate funds? Promise in kind donations? Create a partnership? Facilitate a relationship with a private business that can assist them financially and support staff? Help mount a publicity campaign?
😣😣😣😣😣😣😣
Oh, Miss Judy. I hope you were capable of reading the information that HRH The Princess of Wales took over patronage of the Family Action Centre from her late Majesty QE II. A royal patronage always helps raising funds, bringing awareness to the cause, supporting the organisation.
DeletePlus, one other thing: That lady is NOT Kate Middleton!
DeletePR I want talk about €€€€€
Delete@13.53 Judy - such a vitriolic comment. The Princess of Wales is Patron of Family Action and founded a mental health charity some years ago, hence the visit!
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits suit the purpose as well as being on trend. The blazer is beautifully tailored, there is nothing wrong with her hair and she put it into a practical plait for the walk in the peaks. Love the butchers boy/ peaky blinders hat.
@Judy- probably, The Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales does that.
ReplyDeleteDifferent fotos for 1 event.........strange
ReplyDeleteShe had multiple appointments that day. One of which was the Family Action Centre, and another was in the Peak District (outdoors). Hence her different outfits/hairstyles.
DeleteThe first outfit is confusing, as separates they’re good but together they’re awful. The second outfit is better.
ReplyDelete@17.39 - there are 3 'events', in 3 locations, Bradford, Wakefield then the Peak National Park.
