On January 8, 2026, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited the new premises of the Lighthouse charity in Woking. During the visit, the Duchess spent time with volunteers and thanked them for their work in the community. The Duchess of Edinburgh serves as Patron of the Lighthouse charity, which supports anyone who finds themselves in need. More than 8,000 people benefit from the Lighthouse’s projects every year.

Skirt is nice with the boots, but the jacket is too military looking for my taste.

حذفNice outfit and love the light brown boots. The purse in a mid-brown distracts and should have been black, but overall, this is a good outfit.
ردحذفIl me semble qu’’elle l’a déjà portée avec la ceinture ; là, avec la jupe légèrement plus courte en montrant mieux ses bottes, elle aurait un meilleur look !
ردحذفLa tenue est belle et lui va très bien, mais c'est difficile de voir si c'est du noir ou du bleu marine. Le pull semble être gris ou bleu.
ردحذفLes bottes beiges et le sac caramel ne sont pas choquants mais peut-être qu'un pull beige ou caramel aurait été peut-être mieux, je ne sais pas.
Cependant je vais faire le même commentaire que pour Letizia le 8 janvier, avec son ensemble sombre on ne la voit pas au milieu de tous les autres car presque tous sont vêtus de noir, gris ou brun (photos 1 et 5).
Et comme le nom de l'association évoque la lumière, elle aurait peut-être pu éventuellement porter du blanc pour le symbole.

ردحذفToo much of everything going on here. Two very different fabrics (skirt and jacket) that, albeit the same colour (black), give an unmatching look. Cognac coloured handbag that slightly clashes with the camel coloured boots. But I always like when she shows up for engagements. Generally, I like her a lot.
ردحذفRelooking at more photos the overall look is just okay. It seems to me that what appears to be a gray sweater is matching the skirt well. It is the jacket, as a stand alone piece is well structured, however she seems to just grab a coat that will do. It never seems meant to complete the outfit just used as I supposed it is meant, just a coat, in a neutral colour.

The jacket looks excellent with the belt.
ردحذف"Bally". It is a longtime since I heard something about this brand. I didn't know if it still exists. The brand was also known for their shoes (very expensive). I just started working as a young employee when I passed regularly the "Bally" shop in my town. I cannot say much about the jacket because I do not like this military style on any woman, unless it is the real stuff worn by CP Leonor or CP Elisabeth.
