On Wednesday afternoon, January 21, 2026, Queen Máxima paid a working visit to BDR Thermea and the factory of its subsidiary Remeha in Apeldoorn. The visit focused on the energy transition and the development of sustainable heating solutions for both residential homes and buildings used for commercial, social, and industrial purposes.
The working visit began with a meeting with the management and several employees of Remeha, who provided an overview of the company’s history, the products it manufactures, and its current activities aimed at designing smart and energy-efficient solutions that contribute to a sustainable living environment. Remeha is part of the BDR Thermea Group.
