On 27 January 2026, Queen Letizia of Spain received at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid a delegation from the management team of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (MBFWM), along with designers who will participate in the upcoming edition. The meeting took place on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the country’s leading platform for designer fashion, celebrated last year.
Queen Letizia also granted an audience to a delegation from the Foundation for the Development of Nursing (FUDEN), in order to learn about its strategic priorities, mission and values, as well as initiatives that promote and highlight the importance of the nursing profession in society.

Letizia's hair looks beautiful. I like the way it's swept to one side. It looks like she had a trim because it's much neater and sleeker than usual. Her dress is lovely but could use some accessorization due to the rather bland, dull grey colour. The fringe on the waistline and sleeves is interesting.
ReplyDeleteA very attractive and suitable dress for the events I really like the tweed fabric, the cut and the longer length.
ReplyDeleteVery chic and professional!
ReplyDeleteI like this winter dress very much. It´s simple yet striking because of its perfect tailoring and its interesting texture. I also like how the designer played with the texture by using the fabric diagonally in the skirt. It is the same concept that we just saw in Mary´s outfit in Estonia (equally pleasing to my eyes), though in her case it was two pieces.
ReplyDeleteI would have preferred a more substantial shoe on Letizia, and I thought that Mary´s pairing with boots was more successful, also in part because the higher heel is better for the overall proportion.
Letizia did however do well by choosing nude tights; this way her legs mirror the 3/4 sleeves with some skin colour showing.
Lovely fitting dress.
ReplyDeleteIt’s a lovely dress but again it’s too long for the lower heeled shoes. A couple of inches shorter would make it perfect.
DeleteUne allure toujours très professionnelle
ReplyDeleteFroufrou
Queen Letizia's dark grey tweed dress is equally beautiful as Queen Mary's blue tweed dress she wore yesterday. What I prefer on Queen Letizia's dress is the round neckline and no collar like on Queen Mary's dress. Queen Letizia's dress is a bit too long, but as she is wearing nude tights (or no tights) the whole picture is less dark. She could have worn of course a pearl or white necklace or a diamond brooch, but as we all know QL doesn't like to wear this kind of jewelry. She doesn't even wear a bracelet or a watch, just a ring on her index finger.
ReplyDeleteIts lovely to see a re wear of this wonderful winter dress, the style and colors are attractive, the fit is good. I like the black shoes, color wise great. I agree with other comments, her hair looks well groomed and styled, possibly trimmed, natural and becoming. Not quite sure what type of earrings the Queen is wearing with this ensemble. The Queen obviously likes to keep things to a minimum. But agree as mentioned a piece of jewelry, bracelet, brooch, something, but regardless she looks beautiful.
