On January 15, 2026, Queen Letizia of Spain presided over the Global Caregiver Forum, organized by UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO), with the support of the Government of Spain. The forum, held on January 15 and 16, 2026, at CaixaForum Madrid, brings together leaders, experts, and organizations to develop a roadmap for scaling up parenting programs worldwide.
Following the opening of the Global Caregiver Forum in Madrid, Queen Letizia held a meeting with the Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. For the occasion, Queen Letizia wore a red leather jacket by Mango.
