On 28 January 2026, Queen Letizia of Spain attended a working meeting of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) at its headquarters in Madrid, during which the organisation presented its main projects for the year 2026. Queen Letizia of Spain, Permanent Honorary President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer and of the AECC Scientific Foundation, chaired the meeting.
