Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway will visit Karasjok and Kirkenes on 26–27 January to gain a better understanding of Finnmark County. The town of Karasjok or Kárášjohka is a small municipality in the centre of the county of Finnmark. Kirkenes is a small town located close to the Finnish and Russian borders. This visit marks Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway’s first official solo visit within Norway.
On Sunday, 25 January, Princess Ingrid Alexandra arrived in the municipality of Karasjok, where she will spend the night on the plateau. During the visit on Monday, she will, among other engagements, visit a school in Karasjok and the Sámi Parliament. On Tuesday, the journey will continue to Kirkenes.




Gosh those northern lights are fabulous , the princess is dressed warmly, scarf is perfect in Norwegian colours.
