The festivities of Saint Devota began with several highlights marking this cherished tradition of the Principality, including the procession of the relics of Saint Devota, followed by the ceremonial burning of the boat and a drone show. As part of the Saint Devota celebrations, on Monday, 26 January, in the early evening, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco, accompanied by Hereditary Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, attended the ceremonial burning of the boat held on Quai Albert I in Monaco.
Dolce & Gabbana Grey Wool Chevron Single Breasted Coat

The coat sits perfectly on Princess Charlene. I love the black accessories. Princess Gabriella looks as lovely as her mom in her navy coat.
ReplyDeleteLowri.
Before anyone comments on the minimal work Princess Charlene had done, and I know they will, let us talk about Queen Letizia for example, now that is someone who has had a complete re-do of her face, not Princess Charlene, she has had some minor tweaking done, but not to the extreme so many say whenever we comment on how beautiful she is, so let us give her an absolute break please, I mean getting veneers on her teeth, refining her nose, come on, let it go!
ReplyDelete00:34 I don’t normally comment on people’s looks, but what you’re saying is quite false. Look back to Charlene’s early days and you will see that she had multiple rounds of substantial plastic surgery for many years and really has little resembling her original face. We can give her a break, but we may as well work with the truth if you do choose to bring the topic up.
DeleteI disagree, look at Charlene before she married Prince Albert, her facial features were different, more pronounced, less soft, difficult to define but very visible, does not look minimal to me.

Let the people comment as they like!
Deleteonly you commenting about this, we accept her for who she wants to be, as long she is happy. And she looks stunning!
DeleteWho cares! Whether Letizia or Charlene or any other woman. It is their face and their choice and their business to do it or not to do it. I, personally will not choose to have work done as I hate needles and surgery. It is just as wrong for someone to judge me for not doing it as it is for someone to judge these woman for any work done.

I cannot see the plastic surgery claims at all. Her looks have matured but I don't see any tightening or scaring or any evidence of surgery at all. The pictures of her when she was a swimmer were taken in her teens - I bet we all have aged a bit since our teen years. What I used to see was a sad unhappy woman, now I see a happy content adult. That alone can make a persons looks improve immensly and I think happiness has given her a beautiful face. Not a scapel.
DeleteGimme a break, there are so many sour grapes out there wishing that when they look in the mirror they can be as beautiful as her, look at the last time she was featured, everyone burned up the pages talking about how un-natural she looks, she has had some minor tweaks done to her face but not even close to the commenters who are so so jealous of her looks, and that is ok, but just accept it, set yourself free!

DeleteThank you for your realistic comment.
That's exactly the only possibile reply to the obsession with P. Charlene's "plastic" surgery.
Some royal ladies' beauty really sounds to be like a major issue or a burden to other non- beautiful women , to the point that it becomes a racing thought haunting them.
I pity these obsessed women, I guess that pathological jealousy must be so hard to cope with.
It’s certainly not “pathological jealousy” (for heavens sake P, you do go way over the top) but rather fact that Charlene has substantially changed her face through surgery and regular interventions and now has a face far different from the one in the press when she was an Olympic swimmer. It is not jealousy but fact.

DeleteI stick to my comment and
*opinion*, thank you.
Focusing obsessesively on the supposed " plastic surgery" a royal woman might have undergone makes no sense and is just a poor attempt at downgrading a beautiful lady imo.
It sounds like an unhealthy state of mind if/ when repeated "ad infinitum", as is the case in some blogposts.
Anybody shows substancial face changes over the years.
It is called growing up and aging.
P. Charlene might have had minor tweaks ,not significant makeovers.
Beauty has always been in her genes, nothing new.
Just accepting the fact that some women were born more beautiful than others can surely be a good starting point.
Now, please, as asked from some other commenter, a break would be most welcome.
Bravo to the post by Royal Fashion Observer. I totally agree and so well written!!

Very elegant and so are the children's wardrobe. So glad to see Charlene at these events either alone or with family.

Beautiful children - beautiful family.

Il faut être très mince pour porter ce manteau cintré. Charlene le porte magnifiquement. Josée.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful family looking their best for this annual event. MR
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful quality grey wool coat, fitting well, perfect length. I can imagine how warm this wool coat would be. Love the black accessories. The children look equally lovely and rugged up well. This was a wonderful event.
ReplyDeleteAgree. Princess Charlene looks wonderful and the rest of the family are smart and beautifully dressed
ReplyDeleteThe 4 of them look very elegant. It’s weird for me that they burn the boat!, but I realise it’s tradition.
ReplyDeleteBeautifull classic coat!
ReplyDeleteFor the first time I can see some ressemblance in the twins. Two good-looking children in any case!
ReplyDeleteLove the D&G coat perfect for her. The kids are well dressed, they are getting tall. Can’t say I like the grown up hair do on Gabriella however it is the style.
ReplyDeleteJacques sans sa sœur Gabriella semble très désemparé... sur TOUTES les photos
