On January 4, 2026, King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the first Sunday morning service of the year at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. The event marked their first public outing since Christmas. Upon arrival, the King and Queen were welcomed by the Reverend Canon Dr Paul. The Royal Family traditionally spends Christmas and the New Year at Sandringham House in Norfolk.

Very nice coat, fit is good, nice addition of the scarf, she wears white well. The hat well not my favourite, that and the kings coat they obviously leave in the closet here to wear for a few months.

ReplyDeleteI hate her hat and his coat, but we may not say they are horrible. Do they have clothes in all their castles ? The mot balls must be smelling in these old closets and wardrobes.

DeleteThey both look perfectly fine, it is a church service they are going not a fashion parade. Q. C`s hat , just what was needed for the weather today, love her coat. King Charles will wear his overcoat until it becomes threadbare, why discard something that is of quality and is obviously liked?

ReplyDeleteI remember from English lit the Everyman character. A leader should be able to get along with people from all walks of life. Her hat fits into that train of thought, then the other accessories are matched and she has the white and black contrast going. It's all right. Christine

DeleteBeautiful coat, love the colored silk scarf, adding a splash of color. Not a fan of the hat, but regardless, she looks lovely. She wears white beautifully. Her small bag is gorgeous.

DeleteA gorgeous look for Camilla. I love her in furry hats; but the problem with this old favourite is that Camilla's bone structure has changed with age - as happens to all of us in due course. The hat's proportions are now too large for Camilla, and it sits too low on her head, obscuring her upper face. My mother also needed new winter hats as she entered her later years, for exactly the same reason. Lyra
