On January 27, 2026, the residents and staff of the Hamm Hospice welcomed Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie, accompanied by Minister Max Hahn, the President of the Civil Hospices of the City of Luxembourg (VdL), Henri Grethen, and the Alderman of the City of Luxembourg, Corinne Cahen.
During their visit, the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess were given a presentation of the various services offered by the Hospice and met with residents of the intensive care unit. The residential care facility for the elderly was modernised in 2014, with the aim of providing better support for people living with dementia-related conditions.
