On December 13, 2025, the Princess of Wales visited the Ever After Garden at the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea. During her visit, the Princess planted a dedication, and met with volunteers and staff involved in delivering the garden, to show her appreciation for their hard work and commitment. The Prince and Princess of Wales are Joint Patrons of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.

Every donation to the Ever After Garden goes directly to The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, helping to fund pioneering research for cancer patients across the UK and around the world. The garden was inspired by the late production designer Michael Howells, whose work included the film Ever After, after which the garden is named.

      Thank you for pointing out,
      @ Zucchina.
A breathtaking lit carpet of roses.
My dead Friend was a writer, he would have greatly appreciated this floral tribute.
I once asked my Friend if my English was "decent", lol.
      He replied:
" No, it's brilliant, you put your insight into words and that's all you need"..
      Just a memory...

It goes without saying that the Princess of Wales looks fabulous.
I humbly join her dedication, so clear, straight, poignant.
One of my Friends lost to cancer was British, still in his forties, diagnosed with a brutal verdict.
I remember what he used to say before the final act :
" I'm lying in my bed while the world is still roaring outside".
Great initiative and kudos to the Waleses for supporting cancer research.
    Thank you.

And, of course, I am so glad to hear the good news from King Charles saying that his cancer schedule will be reduced next year.
His Majesty delivered such a meaningful, true and supportive message.
    Well done.

    Paloma.

  12. I don't like Kate's coat. The earrings look a bit tacky, they didn't need to be so dangly. She needs to stop flicking or touching her hair all the time(Tara)

    1. Tara, on which photo do you see her "flicking or touching her hair all the time"?

    2. All people with long hair are touching it. It hangs in the way, before their eyes, My daughter in law had long hair since a long time, she touched her hair all the time. Sometimes it made me nervous and I had to look away. After she became 40 years old, she decided to cut it shoulder length. Since then she never touches her hair anymore and it doesn't hang no longer before her eyes because the hairdresser keeps it at the same length. Sometimes she does a slight variation like having a bit curls in the ends, sometimes a bit shorter in the neck and a bit longer on both sides. But never longer than her shoulders. In the meantime we are 10 years later and I've never seen her again with long hair.
