On December 1, 2025, the Duchess of Edinburgh visited The Lighthouse Guildford to officially open the new Lighthouse Hub — a vibrant community space offering support, creativity, and connection to those who need it most. The Lighthouse is a community charity with hubs in Surrey and Hampshire that hosts a range of creative projects to support, encourage, and empower those who find themselves in need. The Duchess is Patron of The Lighthouse.

    That first photo is a pearler! lovely photo of the baby and Sophie, with mum. The coat looks warm, I like the light polo neck jumper underneath.

      Absolutely 9:10. She is a beautiful model to others. We are lucky to be able to observe here a plethora of fine, graceful, hardworking and beautiful royal women.

    This is an elegant, natural look and reflects the duchess‘s lack of vanity, which I find far more convincing than the alarming profile of queen Rania, for example, queen or no queen. Sofie never bores me, she always seems to carry a sincere message, with fashion playing a secondary role, although she always looks dignified and appropriately dressed.

    I have seen full length pictures of the dress on Sophie. The outfit is shown on a model with the waistband at the waist, blousing the top part a little but Sophie has pulled it down lower than her waist creating a band closer to her hips. It is not being worn correctly, unfortunately making her look thick in her midsection. The dress and the coat coordinate well and the coat is a nice length. She goes a little awry with the way she wore the dress.
