On the evening of December 26, 2025, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the musical Rent together with their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, at the Fernán Gómez Theatre, formerly known as the Centro Cultural de la Villa de Madrid. The production tells the story of a year in the lives of a group of young artists who struggle to pursue their dreams in a world shaped by precarity, rebellion, and the desire to change everything.
