On December 18, 2025, Queen Máxima attended the signing of a four-year partnership between the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Utrecht. The partnership focuses on strengthening the practical knowledge and skills of pediatric radiotherapy teams in Eastern Europe and Eurasia, enabling children with cancer worldwide to be treated more safely and effectively.
The Princess Máxima Center is the national center for pediatric oncology in the Netherlands. Through its Máxima International department, the center plays an active role in improving care for children with cancer worldwide by promoting knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the training of healthcare professionals.

ردحذفMaxima's dress fits her perfectly with the subtly stylish bodice, and the cape continues the smooth flow of the look. Her hat too is unfussy and augments the smooth flow of the look, but I'd have removed the net to make it look less bridal.

Good point Anon 9:13; The veil, especially when seen with the traditional welcome bouquet of flowers ( pics 1, 6 and 10) - does give a flavour of "state registry office wedding".
حذفPerhaps a beige flower on the hat, to match the shoes and clutch, and particularly gold earrings instead of the pearls (which are associated with bridal wear) would also add a more unexpected non-bridal touch to this absolutely gorgeous outfit. Lyra

What a beautiful and heartfelt visit. The ensemble looks beautiful, winter white, refreshingly lovely. . Love the cape and the dress once the cape was removed, looks superb. A marvelous streamlined look.

You can find the same little dresses and jackets in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Austria, etc... The only difference might be the price.
I admire her for the positive energy and bright smile she brings to the place. I would probably cry meeting kids in such a difficult situation.

ردحذفIt is too bridal to me and it doesn't look like winter white but simply white. I would have kept the dress and wore a camel cape to match the shoes and the handbag. A hat in the same camel color and without a veil to finish the look. This is how I'd styled it. Someone else might have other ideas. On the Dutch website about Queen Maxima I found out that the brooch is vintage from the 50s and was bought in New York. The dress is by Natan, the cape coat I don't know. Surprised there are no comments on the wrinkles in the dress. It is one of the comments we hear often here by the Natan haters.
ردحذفAgree with most of what you wrote. This is not winter-white, this is plain white: winter- white is more like wool-white, a bit yellowish and therefore much warmer. The combination with Camel you propos would indeed be great!
