On December 3, 2025, Queen Mary visited Kræftværket at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. Kræftværket is a safe space and community for young people undergoing cancer treatment. As is tradition, The Queen attended Kræftværket’s annual Christmas gathering. This year, Kræftværket celebrated its 10th anniversary. The initiative offers support to young people aged 15–29 who are receiving treatment or follow-up care at Rigshospitalet.

ReplyDeleteAnd not an “easy” gathering to attend. Mary is dressed in an appropriate and casual way, and seems to relate easily to these brave young people.
