On December 10, 2025, Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Caroline of Hanover inaugurated the new Caroline Media Library, now housed within the Pasteur complex, in the presence of Charlotte Casiraghi and Mélanie-Antoinette de Massy. ردحذفI totally agree. Just because something is trending doesn't mean you have to follow, if it doesn't flatter your figure. These royal ladies should show bold leadership and tell their designers to make clothes well suited for them and attractive - be it this suit or Natan's follies.

ردحذفWhat an awful, ill-fitting suit. It is wrong on all accounts - size, fit, colour. It literally does nothing for Caroline. And the mint green top underneath doesn´t help either. The jacket by itself might work with a different outfit (like on top of a dark sheath dress), but then again, double breasted jackets aren´t ideal for women anyway, and the superwide pointy lapels might not age well.

Charlotte est très bien dans ce costume un peu masculin. La couleur semble un peu noisette/cannelle, j'aime bien. Un fin et long collier aurait été sympa.
ردحذفLe costume de Caroline n'est pas à son avantage, trop large pour le pantalon, trop court aux poignets, et la couleur est hélas assez terne. Peut-être qu'un pull blanc ou rose aurait apporté plus de contraste que ce vert pistache.

This Dries van Noten suit may be (?) beautifully tailored and of a material that is soft to wear, but I don’t think the end result will suit anyone. It is cut to a relaxed fit but in such a way it doesn’t look relaxed, it looks messy. On the model it looks worse and has a hanging thing which is even floppier from the waistline? From the lineup the best suit I think is the simple black skirt suit of one lady: neat and well fitted is all we really need from a suit and hers does that. Prince Albert always looks slightly scruffy due to the overly long trouser hem which would be easily fixed.
ردحذفI realize baggy pants and larger boxy jackets are on trend but I don't like the fit of this pantsuit. Especially the pants, very baggy and unattractive. The color of the blouse is a little washed out looking. I wonder what the beads are in the necklace she is wearing?

ردحذفI totally agree with you, she has gone natural, which I applaud, but her hairdo is boring and unflattering. She has relatively full hair so there are many possibilities that would give her face a softer look.

Virginia, I love your thoroughness but sometimes I wonder, were the woman you’re writing about to read your comment, how hurt she may be. “Boring and unflattering” is tough criticism for someone’s self, and hair is part of that. I would say that how her hair is sitting shows that this is the volume she has, and wearing it naturally like that is … well natural! It sits well off her face, complements her face (because it’s her natural hair), and it’s a good length for pulling back when she wants a headband, a pony tail, or a small bun.

حذفI don't think Virginia means to be hurtful. I think she is trying to help Caroline improve her appearance. She would look better if she put more of an effort into her hairstyle. The same goes for Princess Anne. I find it disappointing that women who have vast resources don't use them to improve themselves especially when they are public figures.
The pants is a no. The jacket looks very nice. Well, she is entitled to one mistake in fashion.

ردحذفI just don’t understand why women are expected to artificially enhance their looks. Aging naturally and graciously deserves our support and be applauded.
