This year as well, Hereditary Princess Sophie is continuing her pre-Christmas tradition by visiting all retirement and nursing care homes in Liechtenstein, as well as the National Hospital, throughout the week. On Monday, the Hereditary Princess visited the nursing homes at LAK Haus St. Martin in Eschen and LAK Haus St. Peter and Paul in Mauren.
In the coming days, the Hereditary Princess will visit the LAK nursing homes in Schaan, Triesen, Triesenberg, Balzers, and Vaduz, as well as the National Hospital.

ReplyDeleteSophie looks relaxed and is beautifully turned out in a simple, daytime look with a cheerful red Xmas sweater. I am sure the residents of the nursing care homes are very happy to see their princess for a holiday visit. It's a very kind and thoughtful thing for Sophie to undertake annually because the holidays (Xmas and New Year's) can be a lonely time for many elderly living in care homes.
