Danish Royal Family Attends Christmas Eve Service at the Church of Our Lady

On December 24, 2025, King Frederik X and Queen Mary of Denmark, accompanied by all of their children—Crown Prince Christian, Princess Isabella, Prince Vincent, and Princess Josephine—attended the Christmas Eve church service at the Church of Our Lady (Vor Frue Kirke) in Copenhagen. The royal family usually celebrates Christmas at Marselisborg Palace, but this year they are celebrating Christmas at Amalienborg.

    The Max Mara coat is beautiful, love the rich color. I love the black jumper, the embellished neckline is very attractive, adding interest and sparkle. The blue coat and clutch the Princess is wearing looks wonderful, gorgeous shade of blue. The royal princes have grown tall.

    All well dressed for church. Coat colours are well suited to their complexion . Looks like the girls have the same beaded handbag, one in green and one in blue. I like the length of coat the king and Vincent wear, a nice finished look.

    Very nice-looking family. The girl seems to have served themselves with clothing from their mother's wardrobe. Christian over towers everyone. A Merry Christmas to the Danish RF.

    Bien sûr Mary est très chic. Les 4 enfants sont magnifiques. Pas fan de la tenue de Christian mais peut-être est-ce top chez les jeunes danois? La belle Josephine ne semble plus avoir l’appareil orthodontique qu’elle avait depuis un von moment.

    To me Princess Josephine is the best dressed and Prince Christian is dressed the worse. His jacket is rather too tight and his pants are too wide and the fabric seems to be very thick.

      I don’t think it’s a competition! It’s four young people discovering their styles … do you remember when you did that? Easier without others saying you got it wrong or you look more / less than a sibling. Someone suggested Christian enjoys vintage dressing and another that he’s possibly wearing Henri’s old clothes, which I find heart warming. He’s tall and fit and good looking and can get away with anything! Here he’s dressed to perfection, extremely neatly, and appears to be the only one with a tie!

      If I had been a boy, my mother would never let me go out like Prince Christian is dressed. His jacket is rather too tight and his pants are too wide and from a very thick winter quality, which is not wrong in the Scandinavian winter, but at least a warm overcoat or a puffed coat would have been much better.

      Anonymous, Christian is a young adult. His parents most probably don’t interfere with his clothes any more. It’s been a warm December here in the north and they are only outside for a few minutes on their way to church and back, so Christian is just fine without a warm coat. /Grace
