On December 9, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark arrived in Kenya for a three-day official visit. The Queen was received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Prime Cabinet Secretary and Minister for Foreign Affairs Musalia W. Mudavadi, accompanied by Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife Rebecca Miano.
During her visit, Queen Mary is expected to tour conservation and development projects for endangered species along the coast, as well as landfill sites leading waste-management efforts, circular-economy initiatives, and urban environmental-resilience programs in Nairobi, before participating in the ongoing UNEA-7 meeting at the United Nations Office in Nairobi.
