During the autumn of 2025, Crown Princess Victoria continued her officer training with an in-depth program focused on the Air Force. Through this program, she gained insight into both the practical and strategic activities of the force. At the conclusion of her training, the Crown Princess also flew a Jas 39 Gripen over northern Sweden.
The advanced training, carried out by the Air Combat Training School, aimed to give the Crown Princess a thorough understanding of the Air Force’s operational activities. The program covered the entire air domain and included history, air and space power, operational planning, air base concepts, air defense, future studies, innovation and development.
Throughout the autumn, the Crown Princess took part in activities at the Air Defense Regiment in Halmstad, the Air Combat Training School’s experimental division, the Air Force Simulation Center (FLSC), Norrbotten Air Wing F 21, and also visited the Swedish Space Corporation (SSC) and Esrange.

So BadAzz!
ReplyDeletethe real Top Gun starring Victoria of Sweden
Delete"So BadAzz!"
DeleteOkay?! That's what I'm saying! :D I love that first photo. And even though she's a royal princess I still have to think that a lot of little girls in Sweden are realizing, "If I can see her, I can be her!"
Victoria is so cool!
ReplyDeleteSome good looking pilots there!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed! 😁
DeleteI love the first photo. You can tell from her eyes that she is smiling.
ReplyDeleteShe has such a beautiful smile. It fills up her whole face!
DeleteHandsome pilots.
ReplyDeleteBut what is the point of "training" the heirs to the throne in military aviation? Even if there were a war, the heirs to the throne would not go into combat action. In addition, monarchs have even less authority in the army than elected presidents in countries that are republics.
Pilot training is demanding, takes a long time and is completed by difficult exams (we have pilot in our family) and some short course for princesses is just a promotional event - I don't know now whether for the army or for princesses.
Stephanie
Agree absolutely but maybe it’s just to give her a very basic understanding of military aviation? She won’t be flying and won’t have much authority but as the future queen she would have to know something about it.
DeleteThe point is she will have a FULL understanding of the various rolls, duties, and responsibilities. You would want your sovriegn to have that knowledge. Hello?! I wish it was a requirement of the president of the US. :-/
DeleteTo Anon20:32
DeleteI don't expect my PRESIDENT to know the job description of every profession in our republic.
At "Anon 21:32," well that's you and *your* opion and my opion is mine. I'm also not okay with military crimes and convicted felones serving in positions of power but hey, to each their own.
DeleteI'm not even sure why this post here. It's not really fashion connected.
Anon 21.32 some presidents should study their own job descriptions better😉
DeleteVictoria porte beaucoup d’intérêt pour participer à cette formation bien encadrée par de charmants pilotes ; comme je la comprends !
ReplyDeleteEvery effort she must do, she does it with so much enthusiasm. Her father the king must be a happy man to have a daughter like Victoria to whom he can leave all the difficult tasks which he cannot do anymore because of his age.
ReplyDeleteI wonder when he will retire, I think Victoria deserves to be Queen. She has proven more than once she is a capable individual, but I assume they have discussed it already with the family. And there might be several reasons why they prefer to leave everything like it is now and as long as it is possible.
I think he would prefer his son succeed him. Of course he's not going to say that out loud but it's been well published that he wasn't too happy when the succession rules changed.
DeleteIt´s true that the king wasn´t happy about the change in succession rules. And he actually said so - on camera. But he also said why. It´s not because he favors any of his children, but because the change came when two royal children were already born. Victoria wasn´t born the crown princess; instead, her younger brother Carl Philip was born the crown prince. A year or so later that title was taken from him and given to Victoria. The king specifically said that he objected that titles - once given - could be taken away again. He does not object the principle of the oldest child becoming the heir. His explicit point was that it shouldn´t have affected this generation and instead should have been applied to the next generation onwards. The Norwegians chose to do it that way, which is why Haakon is the heir and not his older sister.

Deleteimagine if Louise was crown princess, total chaos!
Carl Gustav is nobody who wants equal rights for both men and women, is he?
DeleteCoralie, well Sweden is one of the most gender-equal countries in the world, he wouldn’t get far not supporting it.
DeleteWow she looks great in uniform and such a good sport, not afraid to participate.
ReplyDeleteThat's my girl and one day my Queen.
ReplyDeleteShe’s my favorite queen even if she isn’t officially yet. Sweden is lucky to have such a personable and enthusiastic future queen!
DeleteVictoria is a very impressive Crown Princess who shows tremendous dedication to her duties and country.
