Very lovely and practical outfits for these visits. We have seen both dresses below and they work just as well this time. Quite a long tour to many countries. She’s a marvel!

I believe there’s a typo in the visit dates, as surely Sophie was still in London for the Remembrance Sunday on 9th November. Perhaps the trip is from 11th until 19th November?

In any case, all clothes so far look very appropriate for the visit. I will never love her espadrilles, but she clearly does!

  2. Parmi les tenues qu’elle a ramenées dans ses bagages, c’est la robe à fond blanc imprimée de motifs roses et verts qui a ma préférence ; j’aime également sa pochette !

Duchess Sophie's clothes are all rewear. She should take care of her hair, it starts to look like Queen Maxima's. The Lexy London dress is the best dress on these pictures.

The Lexy London dress with its self-belt looks like an outfit good enough to make a short trip to the grocery at the corner to do the shopping, before putting one's hair up in a bun and choosing another outfit to go out and meet people. - The Beulah dress is much better for an allover print than the first one, and I am happy to see that she wears normal shoes with it instead of her summer espadrilles. - But the trousers with that little-girl-small-flowers blouse - both are really, really bad. The trousers like pulled out of a charity box, too short, crumpled, formless, the shoes remind me of the huge ones worn after a foot accident or operation. - The common connecting feature in all three outfits: Beautiful Sophie seems to imagine that puffy sleeves were a an excellent feature for her, even better when combined with ruffles and flowers: the more the better. This makes me really sad because I find her lovely, but I can't escape the impression that she acts out her inner little girl, the one we all have but do not display in our clothing.

What is happening to British royal ladies? Totally uninspired lately. First dress was at best suited for a quick grocery trip. The Beulah dress is a better one, still way too busy of a ditsy print. The blouse has to be a gift from locals, otherwise I can’t imagine she intentionally made that choice.

I understand the desire to reflect local culture-but this isn’t the way to go about it. Cheap fabrics and busy prints are just that - low quality and distasteful.

High hopes for a better showing tomorrow.

Anon 13:32 would like to state that she is not identical with CH 14:39 - the "trip to the grocery" association with Sophie's first dress was just an identical sparkle in us, showing that there must exist an inborn preference in women to dress unbecomingly when going to the grocery. :-)))

La pochette tressée (photo 3) est jolie. J'adore ses lunettes de soleil !
Elle va faire un beau voyage. Paloma.

I think the Lexy London print works well. It is a bunting print but gives a tribal vibe. I don't care for the Beulah dress. It is too much--all flowers and sleeves. I like her pants the best. The cuffed hem is perfect and she is wearing cute shoes that go well with the pants. She immediately looks slimmer and I appreciate royals who wear casual clothes. Many times they look better than when dressed up. This is the case with Sophie. I think a different blouse would have been better, but these simple pants give some balance.

These are rewears, so true her preferred silhouette…long, puffy sleeves and floral. She seems to be a tower of strength and stability, so I personally wish she would leave the little girl/old lady pieces behind and wear modern, structured clothes in more saturated colors to reflect her beauty.

I guess I am in the minority in that I like all 3 outfits and I like her shoes with the pants. The loose blouse maybe could have been a white shirt style, but this is feminine and has a nice collar. I like that she pushed the puffy sleeves up on the Beulah dress, better than lower. The comment on her hair, it is fine, the weather is hot and humid and she is out about, very natural.

  10. I like both dresses particularly love the Beulah, I don't feel the pattern is too much. Her casual wear, I love, perfect for the occasion. This is a great tour, the Duchess is doing marvelous work, I admire her very much.
