Queen Sonja hosted a ceramics symposium at the Royal Palace and the Queen Sonja Art Stable. Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Princess Astrid were also present at the event. More than 80 participants from across Norway gathered for the first-ever ceramics symposium held at the Royal Palace. During the program, lunch was served on the Royal Palace’s jubilee tableware, which was gifted to the King and Queen on their 60th birthdays.

Sounds like a very encouraging event for those in ceramics. Love that the queen in dressed down outfit invites people dressed informally to her palace. Typically, excellently Scandinavian.
ReplyDeleteDe belles dames élégantes dont la princesse vêtue de couleurs gaies ; son toutou est toujours aussi craquant !
ReplyDeleteNormally I like the queen‘s subtle, dignified style, but this informal outfit, especially the vest, is not to my liking. Something is missing which I cannot describe properly.

Sonja's outfit was lovely. When she had the jacket on, it looked better than with the only the open vest.
ReplyDeleteAstrid's outfit, lovely, cute as a bugs ear was her little pooch.
MM's outfit we could not see much of, but looked typically classy and suited her quite well.

PS: The person with the bright multi-colored suit, should have worn something more suitable, in a more subtle tone or color scheme.
