On Monday, November 17, 2025, Queen Rania of Jordan hosted a group of women active in social, cultural, and educational work in Al Mafraq, over lunch at the historic rural area of Umm Al-Jimal. The event brought together more than 100 women. In 2024, Umm Al-Jimal was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

From what I can see this outfit looks stylish. Love her earrings, these gold earrings are beautiful. She looks smart and elegant.

DeleteNothing wrong in looking young and healthy.

That's a lovely sweater/coat and it matches well with whatever it is that she's wearing underneath.

Totally agree @Anon 9:13. I think she is wearing a shirt dress with a nice looking belt under her coat.
DeleteYou're probably right, Zucchina. I wasn't sure whether it was a shirt dress, or a blouse and trouser/skirt combo, with a belt. Either way, she looks lovely.

The pearl buttons give a feminine touch.
ReplyDeleteCe léger manteau aux délicates impressions sur les bords est porté élégamment sur ce qu’il me semble être une robe-chemise !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as ever...HRH The QUEEN
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know why the queen doesn't have to wear traditional clothes & cover her head?
ReplyDeleteBecause in Jordan, it is a choice. You can choose to wear or not wear a head covering. It is not mandatory. Same with traditional clothes. When we were in Amman and elsewhere in Jordan for 2 weeks, we saw lots of both traditional and modern dress. However if you enter a sacred space such as a mosque, then you must use a head covering.
