From 24 to 27 November, Dutch Queen Máxima is making a four-day working visit to Indonesia in her capacity as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Financial Health (UNSGSA). On November 24, Queen Máxima arrived at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Indonesia, where she was welcomed by Friderica Widyasari Dewi, Member of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia.
During her visit, Queen Máxima will meet with public- and private-sector leaders, as well as Indonesians from diverse backgrounds, to learn about financial health challenges and opportunities. On Tuesday, Queen Máxima will begin the day with field visits around the city of Surakarta, also known as Solo. Afterwards, the Queen will visit a traditional batik workshop, where she will speak with women entrepreneurs.
