Questo si che è un ottimo outfit, pantalone e maglia larga morbida sui fianchi, bello l’abbinamento dei colori.

Lovely well-matched soft outfit for the Queen. I like these shoes on her feet so much better than the very high heels that make her ankles look large/swollen.
These brown suedes are beautiful. But perhaps a bit more eye and eyebrow make up and a little blush. She looks pale in the first few photos.

    1. I agree on the shoes! Looking pale is normal now in Europe as the sun has gone for a while. No need for blush to cover up a normal seasonal fact.

    2. Queen Mathilde's ankles were swollen during the hot period we had last summer. Mine were too and I don't wear high heels. Since the weather is colder she does not have swollen ankles anymore.
The only remedy against swollen ankles and legs due to the heat is wearing compression stockings. I can image for a queen when she must be present at several events and do daily visits it is not possible to wear compression stockings. I wear mine under long trousers and in my sneakers. With a dress or a skirt it is not possible. I don't eat salted meals and I drink enough water. All these remedies help a bit but the older someone is the more often it becomes a problem. There is also medicine one can take but only under supervision of a medical doctor. There can be different reasons why someone has swollen feet and legs because of the heat and there are several medical exams to detect exactly what causes it. I hope for QM the reason can be detected and be cured.

  4. Beautiful winterlook of Queen Mathilde. The white pants are a rewear. The new top in wool is more elegant than a simple sweater. Her handbag looks a copy of the same handbag she has in black by Armani . Her camel cape coat is a rewear she has since a long time. Her brown shoes with block heels are not new I think, but I didn't see her wearing them very often.

  5. The make up is not so good, the face make up doesn't look natural and she would need a slightly more colored lipstick. The outfit looks quite nice and appropriate, as well as hair styling.

    1. You must not forget that Queen Mathilde's natural skin without make-up is very fair. I think she used very little face make up. She didn't use eye and brow make-up today and she didn't use blush on her cheek either. The color of her lipstick is "nude". Queen Mathilde only uses darker/red lipstick for an evening event.

    2. I saw a video from this visit for "Reading Week". Queen Mathilde had eye make up on. I saw eyeliner, mascara but no or very little eye shadow.

    3. I agree. As we all get older, we need a defining focus on our face, either eyes or lips that need some color.

Paloma.
