Queen Mary is in Brazil to attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), held in the city of Belém. On November 11, 2025, Queen Mary was officially received by the Governor of the State of Pará, Helder Barbalho, at Hangar — the Amazon Region’s Exhibition and Convention Center, which serves as the official conference venue for COP30.

After the reception, the Queen visited the Danish Pavilion and attended events focused on energy and the circular economy. At the Danish Pavilion, State of Green, together with 32 Danish companies, organizations, and research institutions, presented sustainable solutions and technologies. Among the participating companies were Ramboll, VELUX, and Ørsted, which showcased concrete initiatives in the fields of energy, construction, and innovation.
