  1. The cape does not work well with long sleeves underneath.

I like the unusual style of the short jacket. It seems perfect for this time of the year when weather events can be so changeable. It is roomy enough to go over long sleeves and to remove quickly when needed. Camilla's coat-dress is comfortably loose and pretty with its accent of stitching on the bodice. She's found the perfect ideas for a "uniform" for herself. That takes some courage.

I’d have loved to see a hat on Camilla…nothing big or splashy, just one of her beret-type hats at least. She wears hats on certain occasions, I just don’t know what her criteria are for when and where.

I really miss the immaculate grooming and attention to detail that was always evident in Queen Elizabeth's appearance.

Well, with her gone, so has the last touch of elegance. That refined sense of dress — once a sign of real class — seems to have packed up and left with her. The BFR ladies now look rather... subdued, don’t they? They’ve let the men take the spotlight, and now it turns out the chaps don’t think much of them at all. Poor things — left only to clap politely from the sidelines.

Her outfit is too boxy. 2 layers of shoulder pads.
The other ladies are dressed better than she does.

    Why not black attire?

I think Camilla is wearing the Great Western Railways’ colors. Note the color of the train and the seat cushions.

I am confused. You are saying Cam is wearing the color scheme of a train, and NOT being respectful to the occasion she is to attend by wearing black? Talk about subtle rejection of duty, she did that by the nutty outfit she wore today.

@Anonymous 21:15 - it was a Great Western Railway event, as explained in the description with the pictures; wearing the Great Western Railway’s color shows respect for the occasion.

The title of this group of photo's states "Queen Camilla Attends the 2025 Armistice Day Event in Chippenham" She DID wear this odd outfit, not at all suitable for such a reverent occasion.

Hmmm lovely colour, signature look, I would eliminate the outer two decorative lines they stop at an awkward spot

I wish she would stop wearing this capelet. It never looks right. It is too short and doesn't coordinate with her dresses. It would look better if she wore a lightweight coat.

Oh no, the boot bashers have returned too :-) - What exactly is the problem with the boots? Most royal women wear boots. Nobody seems to have a problem with them. Is it the absence of high heels that disturbs? I don't see any other major difference.

There is nothing wrong with boots. The problem is that Camilla wears these boots 90% of the time, from Autumn into Spring. She has the means to own a variety of footwear, but chooses to live in these boots. They don't coordinate well with a lot of her dresses. She could do better.

20:33 my questions too!! I fail to understand what is remotely wrong with comfortable and well matched boots. Maybe it’s a cultural misunderstanding?

@Anon 04:24: No, she does not wear *these* boots all the time. And yes, she does wear boots most of the time in the cold season, but it is not always the same boots. I sincerely fail to see what is wrong with wearing boots in the cold season, well, commenters' preferences aside.

Not showing much respect of those whose lives were cut short by hideous wars and police actions. She should have been wearing black, or at least a very dark gray. Bad form Cam.

    2. She IS wearing the green colour (plus a black cape jacket, black boots, and black accessories) because this particular colour represents the railway company. I think it very thoughtful of her.

Disappointing outfit. This Queen has the financial resources to hire a trained stylist and do better from head to toe! Every time I tell myself I am not going to comment on this royal anymore, I jump back into the fray.

    Q. Camilla is wearing the colours of The Great Western Railway which originates at Paddington Station in London and goes out to the South west. It played a major part in WW1 regarding logistics and recruitment, as she comes from Wiltshire that is the reason for the tribute and the colour of her dress. She is dressed appropriately, there are better photos on other sites, the dress is beautifully tailored. As for the boots, she obviously finds them practical and comfortable.

  17. This cape jacket must be warm, regardless of it being sleeveless. Keeping the Queen's chest and back warm. I'm sure the practicality of it gets great use. I like the idea very much.

I must have forgotten to press the publish button so my comment is missing.
I personally think that Queen Camilla isn't appropriately dressed for a Remembrance event.
With all due respect, what I see here is too casual a look, not something I would expect from the Queen Consort anyway.
    I am puzzled.
She could have featured the colour representing the Railway Company in a more sophisticated way.
