Princess Anne, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, is undertaking an official visit to Australia and Singapore from Saturday, 8 November to Thursday, 13 November 2025. Upon arriving in Sydney, Princess Anne and Sir Tim Laurence were welcomed with a Smoking Ceremony before being received by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn.
On her second day in Australia, Princess Anne, accompanied by Sir Tim Laurence, marked Remembrance Sunday at the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park, Sydney. During the service, Princess Anne gave a Remembrance Reading and laid a wreath.
Princess Anne received a Royal Salute before inspecting the Parade and the Australian Army Band. The Princess then presented the 2 Signal Regiment Flag to the Commanding Officer Designate and addressed the Parade.
On Monday, 10 November, the Princess, accompanied by Sir Tim Laurence, attended a ceremony to commemorate the support provided to the community by Victoria Police at the Victoria Police Memorial in Melbourne. As Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, the Princess paid a Centenary Visit to Simpson Barracks in Melbourne.
On the final day of their visit to Australia, Princess Anne and Sir Tim Laurence visited Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, where a Service of Remembrance was held and Her Royal Highness laid a wreath. Their Royal Highnesses also visited Duncan Oval, where they attended the Corps Week Sports activities.
The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence later travelled to Singapore for a two-day visit marking 60 years of diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom and Singapore. During their stay, they attended a birthday reception for King Charles III at the British High Commissioner’s Residence.
On 12 November 2025, Princess Anne visited the National Orchid Garden for the naming ceremony of the Dendrobium Anne orchid, as part of the celebrations marking 60 years of diplomatic ties between the UK and Singapore.

The PR wears clothes really well and it’s fun to see some of her fashion from a long trip. My favorite is the coral/orange jacket in the final photos. It’s a great color and cut, and looks like silk shantung, which is a luxurious fabric. Also love the white/ivory hat with black ribbon. It’s a great shape and size on her.
ReplyDeleteI’m going to Australia in January…wonder how I set up a smoke ceremony upon my arrival 🤣
Love to get posts on the Princess Royal. Well, she saved the best to last in my opinion. The orange jacket and toning grey patterned skirt looks great on her and I like the bronze dress though it definitely looks like it may be vintage! In the 3rd pic she looks so like her mother, it’s amazing!
ReplyDeleteAgree !!
DeleteI agree that the last outfit is the best, second the black and white pant suit (there is another black and white dress/coat that we cannot see so much of, but it also looks promising) the rest is a bit outdated. And for me it is very difficult ot understand why she is wearing uniforms every now and then, I guess it goes way back, but still. Lovely Princess Royal whatever she wears.
DeleteAnne has definitely made some new, modern additions to her wardrobe and it's lovely to see her wear these new items instead of recycling garments which are decades old which she loves to do.
ReplyDeleteI like all these outfits she is showing us - they suit her style well AND the fit of each one is perfect for her slim figure. However my favourite is the last outfit, with the tangerine jacket. The collar is beautiful, framing her face and the pearls perfectly, and the dress underneath provides a complete matching contrast.

The only new addition to her wardrobe I see is the beautiful skirt on the last picture. It matches the orange jacket, but one can see it is an old jacket, only the color is fashionable. Also her accessories on each picture are too old. Her shoes have no shape any more. The handbag looks like handbags of a cheaper quality (maybe it is not). The problem with Princess Anne's clothes is that almost all look worn out (except of the new skirt). As long as she can wear a uniform she is happy.
DeleteAnonymous 08:19, I really don't see what you see. In my eyes none of her clothes or accessories are "too old".
DeleteI find it wonderful that she keeps her clothes, that are of good quality, and rewears them.
Same Coralie. I find 8:19 a little harsh. And I admire all people who buy well and use their consumables carefully and for a long time.
Delete@Anon 08:19, "worn out", "too old" and "looking cheap" - these are projections of your negative prejudice against wearing old pieces. I don't see anything like this, also I don't know when exactly is something not old but "too old". Very unpleasant to read something like this in our times of planned obsolescence and its consequences.
DeleteThank you for the post on the Princess Royal. Her Australian visit was marvelous. She looked lovely in everything she wore. One dress, a blue floral (not shown here) was particularly lovely and elegant. Mostly re wears on the tour and I loved it. It fascinates me the re wears, I just loved it! Sometimes the ensembles are changed other times not.
ReplyDeleteHer cream pantsuit looked splendid, fitting perfectly.
She really looked superb in the Australian Army uniform, she rocked it! Lovely to see her wearing her brooches, and pearls. The gold necklace with her cream and brown outfit looked good.
I like the dress and apricot jacket she wore in Singapore. Hopefully we will see some more coverage of this particular tour before she returns back home.
The cream pantsuit was not really a suit. The pants were made of another fabric and there was a minor difference in the colour. The jacket is part of an ensemble with a skirt instead of pants. It is not bad but that was the first thing I noticed, a difference in the jacket and the pants.
DeleteAnon 12.50 Thank you for the correction. Lovely to know.
- Dorothe -
ReplyDeleteDa kann ich Ihnen nur zustimmen, Dorothe!
DeleteI am minority - I like none of these outfits. I will acknowledge her age and propensity for shiny fabrics, but they look just dated and don’t find them flattering. She has a good figure and with little advice could actually achieve a certain level of style. Her energy is to be admired.
ReplyDeleteCH
She actually has achieved a certain level of style! She doesn’t need to change a thing!
DeleteLike you in all comments sofar I too enjoyed the pictures of the Princess royal!
ReplyDeleteJe me suis empressée de faire défiler les photos pour arriver à l
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to shine in orange, but princess Anne nails it
ReplyDeleteThe princess royal is a gorgeous woman! One can only admire her.
ReplyDeleteI love the beige trousers/jacket ensemble!
ReplyDelete@12.50 the trouser suit is a suit, take a closer look. I totally agree with those who have commented positively about the Princess Royal`s wardrobe. The fact that so many outfits are decades old are testament to the quality and tailoring and the fact that she does not bow to fashion trends nor put fashion before the object of the visit.
ReplyDeleteShe wore the jacket with a skirt before.
DeleteThere is nothing wrong with my eyes. I do not have to take a closer look to see immediately that trousers and jacket are made of a different fabric.
@07.07 the jacket HRH wore with the skirt is a different style/colour/material. Look again.

DeleteThere is no picture of the jacket worn with the skirt here. It was on an earlier occassion PA wore the jacket with the black details with a skirt instead of trousers. Maybe she had enough fabric and had made a skirt and trousers to wear with the jacket.
