King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia are in Brazil to attend the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), which will take place from November 10 to 21. The King and Queen were received by Helder Barbalho, Governor of the State of Pará. Together with the Governor, they marked the establishment of a partnership between Childhood Brazil and a local transport organization.
The partnership will make possible the creation of the first Barnahus (Children’s House) on board a vessel. The floating Barnahus will provide support, legal assistance, and rehabilitation for children and young people living in river communities who have been victims of violence or sexual abuse.

She looks so young.
ReplyDeleteI don't like her big bag with her pretty outfit.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your thoughtful and encouraging comment. I see the bag as not just coordinated with the shoes but practical for carrying: stuff. Which is for the most part the reason for carrying a bag, and one has more stuff to carry, one uses a larger bag. There seems to be a lot of logic here in this outfit. She’s looking wonderful!
DeleteI like her bag it matches her two tone shoes. She is obviously carrying the items she may need, scarf etc. herself, it is not meant to be a statement piece. Love this blouse in her. The king looks very dapper as well.
DeleteLovely outfit for Q Silvia.

Yes !
DeleteWhy she has the same outfit??
ReplyDeleteI suppose the nice answer is because she likes it so much, feels so comfortable wearing it... A less good answer could be because she just started liking wide-legged trousers, and it is the only one she has.
DeleteMaybe she went to two events within a short period of time, hence no changing clothes
DeleteQueen Silvia's mother was Brazilian, and Silvia spent 10 years of her childhood there. So it is a bit more understandable why she smiles so much and looks so happy there. I've just read that they prolonged their stay to have a private holiday.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen grew up in Brazil!
ReplyDeleteShe is swamped by this outfit. The trousers are far too wide, do not drape particularly well and the top has definite 1980`s vibes. As for the bag, why so large? If she needs to carry a large amount then surely an aide could carry a separate bag allowing her to have a smaller one on her person.

Paloma.
High horse jumping on both of your comments. LOL ... Everyone has their OWN opinion, yet being childish making snarky remarks, does not bode well for you. State your opinion, leave the snarky comments out.
DeleteThe outfit is beautiful, classy, The Queen looks lovely, relaxed, and enjoying the outing.
Anonyme 18 : 51, merci pour cette petite morale. Vous aussi vous vous croyez tout permis.
DeleteJe préfère les personnes qui comprennent l'humour plutôt que les éternelles bien-pensantes grincheuses et donneuses de leçons. Paloma.
This is a gorgeous, fresh, very pretty elegant outfit. She looks so young, love it.
ReplyDeleteJ'ai un grand choix de sacs ; c’est cela qui me fait apprécier son grand sac tout à fait à mon goût car il faut souvent voir leur côté pratique !
ReplyDeleteElegant is not an accolade I would give in this instance. Trousers are too bulky and the blouse seems to be cut with a waist but is too large to give definement.
ReplyDeleteI don’t understand why a garment has to give definition or moulded to the body. It is very hot where they are so a looser garment may be more comfortable.
