As Patron of the Christmas Seal Foundation, Queen Mary attended the presentation of the 2025 Christmas Seal, held at Copenhagen City Hall on October 6, 2025. This year’s seal, titled “Christmas Hope and Wishing Stars,” was designed by artist Emilie Melgaard Jacobsen. Since 1904, the Christmas Seal has been a cherished part of Danish Christmas traditions.
Proceeds from the sale support the work of the Christmas Seal Homes, where around 1,000 children each year receive help to strengthen their well-being, self-esteem, and sense of belonging. For the occasion, Queen Mary wore a floral-print silk blouse by Roberto Cavalli and a crepe midi-length skirt by Alexander McQueen.

ردحذفMary looks fabulous in this outfit. The RC top is stunning from the gorgeous blue/red floral print to the unique neckline. It blends well with the AM skirt. The red colour looks like an exact match. I love the modest opening at the front.

I am a big fan of Queen Mary's style in general, but one thing I have not liked over the years is her love of the front "keyhole" blouse and dress design. Just a personal preference, I suppose. She looks lovely here otherwise, and it is interesting that for what I believe is the first time, she placed a necklace in the keyhole, which does add interest.
ردحذفMary looks splendid in this outfit. I love the swirling floral print and colours of the Cavalli blouse, and the McQueen skirt works perfectly with it, as well as with Mary's type of style. The slight slit to the side adds a dash of sexiness that is a reminder that Mary may be a queen, but she is also a feminine woman too. The slit is also a complimentary contradiction to the high neck of the blouse.

Mary composed the outfit exquisitely again, blouse and skirt go well together (how lucky that she does not wear this pattern all over her). But unfortunately, I don't like the blouse at all, much too busy at the neckline, too much going on, the pattern itself is busy enough.

ردحذفI looked up a video of Mary arriving to the event, and the skirt in motion is really beautiful including the higher hemmed bit.
