On the evening of Monday, October 6, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark attended the DR Girls’ Choir’s “Dark Concert” (DR Pigekoret i mørke) at the DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen. This year’s Dark Concerts with the DR Girls’ Choir in Aarhus and Copenhagen feature both iconic Danish melodies from the 1980s and brand-new compositions by award-winning jazz artist Mathias Heise. Since 2018, Queen Mary has served as Patron of the DR Girls’ Choir.

The lacy top adds an unusual but lovely look to her outfit. Overall she looks wonderful.

    1. Yes. She enlivened the outfit with the unique top. Otherwise it would have been the usual run of the mill tuxedo look you see on men and women.

  4. Lovely black pantsuit, fits well top and bottom. The Navy blouse is unusual. I like it. She looks very elegant.

I love the suit, but wish that the inner blouse that she has chosen didn't have such a high neck. It takes away from the lower cut and style of how the jacket is meant to be worn. Other than that, Mary looks great, including her darker, evening make-up.

Bella lei e il look, ma il troppo nero non la fa risplendere...almeno stavolta.

Queen Mary radiates maturity and genuin interest in others. Together with her elegant exterior she gives her role a meaning.

  8. Élégante mais je trouve que le blazer cache trop son haut à col roulé ; j’adore la pochette que j’aurais aimée en satin doré !

  9. Mary is her usual elegant and beautiful self. I also like the look of the young girl dressed in blue, at first glance I thought she is a ballerina.

Yes the girl in blue looks wonderful. Without actually knowing, I'm guessing she's a representative of the choir that performed the show.

Nor the colour, nor the neckline is a good idea: it diminishes the beautiful cut of the jacket.

I think she chose all black to honour the event which takes place in the dark!

Sadly I agree with this comment. A lovely jacket but I don't care for the design and colour of the top.

Her hair doesn’t help either, it would be better done up.

The lace is to much and the suit is to big.Mary looks like she borrowed a suit from Grucho Marx,so no to this outfit.

I think it is hard to see in the photos but if you check the video eg via Billed Bladet, the suit fits superbly and there’s no way a Marx brother would fit it as it’s entirely feminine.
