On the evening of Monday, October 6, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark attended the DR Girls’ Choir’s “Dark Concert” (DR Pigekoret i mørke) at the DR Concert Hall in Copenhagen. This year’s Dark Concerts with the DR Girls’ Choir in Aarhus and Copenhagen feature both iconic Danish melodies from the 1980s and brand-new compositions by award-winning jazz artist Mathias Heise. Since 2018, Queen Mary has served as Patron of the DR Girls’ Choir.
For the occasion, Queen Mary wore a silk-lapel double-breasted tuxedo blazer suit by Paul Smith and a cotton-blend lace turtleneck top by the Amsterdam-based brand Róhe.

Lovely look for Queen Mary

The lacy top adds an unusual but lovely look to her outfit. Overall she looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYes. She enlivened the outfit with the unique top. Otherwise it would have been the usual run of the mill tuxedo look you see on men and women.
DeleteLovely black pantsuit, fits well top and bottom. The Navy blouse is unusual. I like it. She looks very elegant.
ReplyDeleteYes the top makes all the difference
DeleteI love the suit, but wish that the inner blouse that she has chosen didn't have such a high neck. It takes away from the lower cut and style of how the jacket is meant to be worn. Other than that, Mary looks great, including her darker, evening make-up.

Bella lei e il look, ma il troppo nero non la fa risplendere...almeno stavolta.
ReplyDeleteQueen Mary radiates maturity and genuin interest in others. Together with her elegant exterior she gives her role a meaning.
ReplyDeleteÉlégante mais je trouve que le blazer cache trop son haut à col roulé ; j’adore la pochette que j’aurais aimée en satin doré !
ReplyDeleteMary is her usual elegant and beautiful self. I also like the look of the young girl dressed in blue, at first glance I thought she is a ballerina.
ReplyDeleteYes the girl in blue looks wonderful. Without actually knowing, I'm guessing she's a representative of the choir that performed the show.
DeleteNor the colour, nor the neckline is a good idea: it diminishes the beautiful cut of the jacket.
ReplyDeleteI think she chose all black to honour the event which takes place in the dark!
DeleteSadly I agree with this comment. A lovely jacket but I don't care for the design and colour of the top.
DeleteHer hair doesn’t help either, it would be better done up.
DeleteExcellent taste Mary!!! Real Queen in fashion! With this outfit you need on juwelry. You keep in simple but elegant :) i like you style. `your hair same.
ReplyDeleteThe lace is to much and the suit is to big.Mary looks like she borrowed a suit from Grucho Marx,so no to this outfit.
ReplyDeleteI think it is hard to see in the photos but if you check the video eg via Billed Bladet, the suit fits superbly and there’s no way a Marx brother would fit it as it’s entirely feminine.
DeleteWonderful.well taylored suit
ReplyDeleteMakes me think of Yves st Laurent who invented the toxido
Smukke!
