    oh Rajwa whats happening here;
    - the boots don't much with anything
    - the flurescent bag is too bright, out of shape and not matching
    - the prints of on the dress!

I’m with you on the question to Rajwa. She has the stature and youth to pull off almost anything, but not this. To the dress, it appears as a light coloured strapless number worn with a black sweater from a distance - I don’t understand the artist’s intention with the patterning, and the thin ribbon at the waist is inadequate to marry the colours. It may look much better with black accessories and a proper belt. The other guests in the group photo at the hospital are all very elegant. Regarding the photos with Pope Leo, he’s the best dressed, and I appreciate the natural smiles of the pope and the king. I would love to see Rania’s natural aging.

    2. I didn´t notice the bag, so I guess it didn´t bother me.
I agree that the boots seem a bit random. Simple black pumps would have been a more logical choice.
And I fully agree about the print of the dress. The bottom part seems to mimic a bikini line, and the top part looks like paper that got partially wet. Not a great design.

Why ? - the golden part of the print matches the golden bag perfectly and the boots are neutral (with that white skirt she better does not wear dark boots). I see you don't like the print, that's OK but I would not condemn it with an exclamation mark (and without explaining why). Maybe a nod to art and as such, a question of personal taste. Personally, I like the pattern on the skirt, but not that very dark block under her face.

...BTW, compare this to the very boring style of Eugenie here, I say Rajwa is fantastic. Nice to see Eugenie out and about, i hope that the sisters shall not be punished for the foolish actions of their parents.

9:58 I don’t find Eugenie boring here but rather classic and conservative and lovely.

I love the elegant dress. The print features a flower with delicate, purple petals. Enlarging the image reveals the overall concept a little better. The flower represents the woman wearing the dress. When she walks, the flower on the light dress moves as if in the wind. For me, the dark contrast is the icing on the cake (is it black or midnight blue?). I agree that the colour of the bag picks up one of the colours in the design. Personally, I think the change in style is a bit too much, but if she likes it, that's what matters. It's a shame she's wearing boots, but perhaps she gets cold easily. Camilla often wears boots for this reason, too.

@Anon 09:58: "very boring" - this blog could be a nice place if people who write "boring" would learn to give more qualified comments instead of describing their own feeling. Sorry, but nobody cares if you personally are bored. Tell us about the outfit, not about yourself!

Love the tan suede boots but not sure it’s quite right with the delicate dress. Oh so close to a stunning outfit!

I love Rajwa's dress. So delicate and feminine but I wish that the sleeves were not black. More lighter white would have been nice with a black cuff. I'm OK with her purse (I'd have preferred a clutch), but the boots are all wrong - too heavy with the lightness of the dress, and also the wrong colour. If she had to wear boots, black would have been better.

Rania's shoes at the papal visit are gorgeous.
Cannot see too much of her other dress in just the one photo. Hopefully more photos will be posted where we can have a better look at it.

I do not care for the pattern or style of this dress on her. The purse does not seem to go with it or her boots. I do like the boots, just not with this dress.

Quelle robe affreuse que celle de Rajwa.

To me, the most immediate problem with Rajwa’s dress is the odd, string-like belt; removing it would instantly improve the overall look. However, the dress itself comes across visually as a strange fusing of a summery print with a wintery mock turtle-neck sweater. The bag actually coordinates beautifully with the splashes of ochre in the print. And while the boots are beautiful, unfortunately they look wrong with the dress. Altogether a strange outfit, but Rajwa is so lovely it hardly matters.

Eugenie’s haircut is quite nice on her — neat and tidy-looking, as are the black sweater, gorgeous moss-green skirt and beautiful bag. A well put-together autumnal look. — Jane

Eugenie is taking a nod from her cousin Sarah who wears sweaters and skirts a lot. A sweater and skirt for her body much better than a dress.

  8. Eugenie's skirt I don't feel fits her well, there is pulling across the thigh section. Queen Rania looks splendid in both outfits.

I like the concept of Rajwa's dress showcasing delicate artwork. It's a pity that the flower is cut in half by the belt (which in my view spoils the design); If the belt were removed, and more shaping added to the silhouette by strategic seaming, this frock could look stunning. The bag being chartreuse relates beautifully to the design palette. Replacing the beige boots with black ones would finish the look nicely.

Eugenie -- I love how she is working with colours which favour her auburn colouring -- green, oxblood and gold. Her hairstyle demonstrates that she could look good with short hair -- although while hers is still long, I feel the pulled-back look is too severe for her. The skirt would suit her even better if it had more flare and structure, as would boots with a thinner heel and more pointy toe (i.e. less casual).
    Rania -- impeccable, as usual.

Rajwa is a beatutiful woman, and I recall previous comments here wishing she would wear more colour…here she does so but nothing seems to match! I think the assymetric print on the dress does no one any favours. The boots are nice but not along with this dress. On a positive her hair is gorgeous and she holds herself so gracefully.

I think the outfit is quite cool, and the bag is just what gives it some interest! I would have gone with another belt, and I am also not a fan of the dark part on top of the dress, but overall it is a slightly different looks with a bit of an edge.

Paloma.

Not really that fresh, and she has always had a daring fashion sense, not everyone likes it, but unusual and striking it is, see e.g.: wedding dress https://www.newmyroyals.com/2023/06/crown-prince-hussein-married-rajwa-al.html and this one https://www.instagram.com/p/CpsboFMu14U/

The dress is meant to impress through a kind of artistic quality I suppose, cf. Giada homepage: "making both fashion and lifestyle into forms of art." Well, I understand now, but alas, that does not really makes it really attractive.

I think Rajwa would look good in the types of things that suit Charlene - stronger shapes rather than more delicate ones.

Interesting to see a Muslim king and queen with the Pope! The Pope doesn't look too thrilled but then again he doesn't need to be grinning.

There's nothing interesting nor unusual, or anything to be so surprised about. Christianity, Judaism and Islam are all Abrahamic religions that share many common doctrines, beliefs and theological overlap. Their leaders at different levels (global and regional) have been convening together for centuries, and still do today. They visit each other, respect each other, and have meaningful discussions.
Previous popes (and this one too, in time) have welcomed all kinds of other religious leaders, including those from the East (far and south) and elsewhere in Asia, whose faith systems are completely different.

L’on a vu mieux ! Cette robe est peu flatteuse !
